I believe this is totally normal. I've always heard that you should weigh first thing in the morning the same time each day. My weight does the same. I weight less in the morning than I do during the day. mainly because of meals or certain foods will bloat me up or not enough water intake. I also found that you do not weigh yourself after working out...Big mistake.. I think the muscles after being worked out causes some gain due to either water or something else.

Metabolically speaking your weight in the morning is not the same as in the evening. Your Kidneys are working to regulate that amount of water during the day every hour they filter 25% of your blood so the there will be accumulation of water during the day which is normal, even the next day you can appear to wait between 4-6 pounds heavier in water weight depending in the amount of carbs you eat and the amount of water that you drink. So the best way to keep track of your weight is every 7 days early in the morning after going to the bathroom,on empty stomach.

That's why boxer have a perfect weight the day of the weigh in and almost 10 pounds more in 2 days.

Yea..I sometimes see a 3-5 lb fluctuation from morning to evening. I usually workout in the evening. Weight training followed by 15 of HIIT cardio. I use Superpump 250 as pre-workout drink and SizeOn during. After working out I typically eat a whole chicken breast, brown rice, a veg and a protein shake. When I go up for a shower I'll jump on the scale. When I get up in the morning I'm always down at least 2-3 pounds.

When you figure a gallon of water weighs 8.34 lbs, between the two drinks I've probably just added 2 lbs right there. Even if I pee half of it, eating dinner and a shake will add another couple pounds for sure.

3-4 pounds in a day I think is pretty normal. 7 might be stretching it. If you're using different scales I wouldn't trust that number. If a scale is off then the error really doesn't matter because it there each time you weigh yourself. It becomes a relative measurement at that point.
