Today was the official end of my diet but I`ll extend it with a slight change: carb cycling. That means you have higher carb, low carb, and near zero carb days. I love this diet cause you don`t lose energy and still get the fat burning benefits. I posted some ics of my progress in my gallery, do check `em out

Now yesterday was one of those difficult days in terms of energy; I felt really weak, dizzy and nauseated, so I took it easy and slowed down. I did finish my workout, that`s really not a choice, but I came back home earlier to have an extended rest. Today is also rest so that`ll help me to feel well by saturday when I come back to the gym.

I think I`m getting there. Having nice abs is so difficult for me with my genetics, but the hard work is showing and i like the way I look. Strangely, I was expecting to see more cuts in my legs, hmm, they will come, no need to worry. I also noticed a nice change in my triceps, even when they are completely relaxed they are so tight! nice…

I see the cuts now, energy is still fine, I`ve had good workouts and nice cardio sessions, you can see the fat melting! Nothing motivates more in my opinion, than actually getting visible results, cause is not like doing something and not knowing if it`ll actually work or not. The results are there for anyone willing to pay the price! it`s not magic and they won`t come overnight, but `they`re real!

The body has a hard time at the beggining of a low carb programme but then it addapts and everything get easier, let me explain; for a number of reasons, the body`s prefered source of energy is carbs. It takes a far higher effort to the body to burn fat given it`s density. What you do in this kind of diets is to force the body to start using fats as energy, by removing the carbs. The body is lazy in this regard, so it is hard at the beggining, but once it starts using fat it becomes easier and you don`t feel tired…and you start seeing the cuts which is the best part!
Today it`s quads and calves day, plus cardio, let`s see how it goes

Now day 5 was hard! I was very hungry the whole day, I thought since day 5 was rest day from the gym it`d be a bit easier but no. Let me explain, in a low carb diet insuline levels remain low (since there is no sugar to burn) and you areen`t supposed to get hungry. I think it was more a psychological thing, so time to refocuse my mind in the results, instead of telling myself things like: oh God, I`d kill for a brownie now. Sometimes you don`t even notice you`re doing that! so you have to pay attention. Well, today it`s shoulder, biceps, abs and 1 hr cardio, I can`t wait!

It is arround day 4 or 5 of a low carb diet, that you normally start seeing changes in your body. I think my energy has not suffered from the low carbs, I just came back from the gym, I trained hams and abs + 1hr cardio and everything was fine. You sweat a lot more, since such a diet has a diuretic effect, all normal. I feel hungry at some points but that`s just obvious and I don`t fight with the facts, just relax and enjoy.

After 3 days I`ve started feeling well, no more anxiety and the mind set straight on the goal. I`m doing high reps with short rest periods (1 min) in between sets so my workouts flow really fast. I`m also doing one hour cardio a day at a medium pace, no need to overdo it since all there is to be burnt is fat, no need to worry about burning carbs, but you have to pay attention on keeping the hard earned muscle.

yesterday I started a low carb diet and changed my programme to get ripped. I hate this diet man, but it works pretty well. You just have to be careful you eat enough protein. Today a had a big headache, which I can blame on the lower sugar level; the brain needs sugar to work, and it`s complaining about not getting enough. This really tests your motivation, so I`ll try to keep a record of my progress to help me keep motivated. Nice pics are comming up once I finish in two weeks (no need for more).
