Pumped and Puzzled part 2

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

I will answer my own question, i am making a big deal of it.  I just came from the gym and my workout this month is doing a light set of 100 reps on a muscle group, abs, and then cardio for 5 minutes of HIIT.  So if you divide the muscle groups I am doing 6 of those sets.  So that is six times on the cardion machine, and more importantly 6 times I have to enter my weight into the machine.  Everytime I entered 278 I thought in less than 6 months I have lost 30 lbs.   Breakdown 6 lbs a month or about 1.5 lbs a week.  I just wanted to see results quicker, but I think this is a healthier way to lose than I have done in the past.

Shame on me for being puzzled, I am just pumped!

Pumped and Puzzled….

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

Pumped- I am halfway to my goal of losing 60 lbs.  That is a milestone for me for the simple fact that is the most weight I have lost staying on one program.  It has taken many eating plans, supplements, and gym work.

Puzzled- I started January 1 and weighed myself June 1.  So 6 months…it took 6 months to lose that weight.  I must admit I am impatient and want results right away.

Pumped/Puzzled really describes where I am at. (I should add thankful but that doesn’t start with a P)  My question for anyone who reads this "is that a normal rate?" or am I making a big deal out of this.
