Sorry, but I lived on New englland for over 25 years and I still have some of the slang left in me.
I hate to be one of those people who reviews a product after the first time, but I have used this product before. I just started a 21 day cycle of Animal Cuts and I forgot jsut how awesome this stuff is.
I know I am not the only one out there who has taken a fat burner and not folowed the cleanest diet, expecting the supplement to pick up your slack. This time I am commited to following a clean diet during this cycle to see what results will really happen. I also started to stack BCAA’a and Glutamine with it as well.
I had my first workout today and i did not feel a thing. Let em explain, today was a chest.tri day so I did four exercises each at ten sets per exercise. Rep range was between 10 and 20 (never below 10). I do not feel a thing, none of that stiff feeling you usually feel after a workout. i still have plenty of energy, though I am not running in circles like a poodle in heat.
It was back to basics for me, the gym, Korn’s greatest hits, and animal cuts. The weights had better watch out!
By the way how awesome is Tek playing right now? GO Sox!

This is a quote my wife told me was from Oprah’s trainer on weight loss. At first I really did not pay attention to it, but the more I thought about it the more it bugged me. Bugged me in a way that I do not think it is accurate.
The quote in my opinion should be " It takes a decision, and the will power to stick with that decision."
We have all made that same decision on January 1, "I am going o lose weight this year". For some this is over by January 15. It is over if you do not have the will power to stick to your decision.
I am a victim of this myself. I have made the decision before to lose weight, but many times I did not have the will power to say no to the chips, beer, and pizza.
It was not until January 1, 2009 that I made the decision and had the will power to make it work for me. I have lost 25 lbs to date and none of that happened until I had the will power to say no to stuff that is not good for me.
Hmmmm……….
Hey Oprah, you could hire me for half his price! =-)

In honor of the hall of famer Ric Flair "Woooooooo!"
I thought I was crazy to even check today, but I went ahead and did it anyway. I checked my bodyfat.
When I first tested it I think I wanted to scream, cry, give up etc. I knew I had gained a whole bunch of weight, but I was never concerned with BF. The first time I checked it was 29 (and some change), and I thought well 70/30 hamburger is tastes pretty good. I really started to analyze it and became very discouraged, i then decided I wanted to lose 45 more lbs.
I was (still am) obsessed about losing the lbs, but I was so pumped today to check my BF and notice it went down 4.5%, it was encouraging. It was the boost I needed! Maybe I do not need to get down to 240, maybe 250 would be a healthy weight for me.
What I do know is that I am pumped to see some sort of progress, and I will continue to push forward to get the body I want.

Am I the only one out there that is impatient? My theory is I want what I want, when I want it. I want to see reults, and I want to see them faster. I know I did not get like this overnight, and I know it is a journey etc etc. I do believe that, but I want results now.
I am eating the right calories, taking in the right proteins, the right carbs and fats. I am a die hard Muscle and Fitness dude (I live by that mag). I take all the right supps, drink a gallon of water a day, and take extra fiber. (I feel like I live at Vitamin shoppe) I just want to see results faster than I am, and it gets frustrating.
My whole family is getting fit and today my Father has lost 10 lbs, my moms has lost 15, my father in law has lost 20 and my wife 18. It just feels like I have been stuck on 23 lbs for awhile. What gives, i had to stop weighing myself daily becasue I was getting pissed off. I am not weighing in until I finish my 3 week workout segment, which will be next thursday.
Now that I have vented that I will go get ready for bed, so I can hot the gym again in the am. I am looking forward to it!

Weightwatchers, and Muscle and fitness have taken over our household and make for some interesting dinner conversation.
Weightwatchers- personally I did not think my wife needed to lose anything. In fact I told her if she lost too much of her backside I would take her to court. She started weighwatchers through her job. Everything comes down to points for her system. It got to the point (pun intended) where I asked her not to say points anymore because it was interferring with my watching of ESPN. She cooks her own meals according to her point system and we still eat dinner together. She has lost 17 lbs so far.
I am not going to pretend like I understand that system, I find it hard to believe that 2 slices of turkey breast is the same amount of points as an ice cream sandwich????? Puzzling but it is working for her.
Muscle and Fitness is where I get my diet info and workouts from. Reading that Magazine has really helped my focus and motivation. I too cook my own meals and I still eat dinner with my wife. I have lost 23 lbs so far.
Our dinners do look interesting, last night she had a green salad with shrimp and I had a roasted pork loin chop with Sweet potato baked fries.
Our results are coming too, as stated she has lost 17lbs so far and I have lost 23. We go to the gym together on the weekends, because during the week I am an early morning person and she is a 7pm inthe evening person. She is currently doing a 5 days on two off routine, she focuses on (in this cycle) 45 minutes of weight training and 15 cardio. I am doing 7 day training, 3 days of weight traiing using the tabatha method (Muscle and Fitness) and for cardio the other four days 3 days of HIIT, and one day of basketball.
WW vs Muscle and Fitness, which is better? That question does not even matter, if you have different goals however you get there is up to you. I will say this, my wife is an aries (draw your own conclusions), and she willl ask me my opinion of what she should do, I will answer her with partly my opinion and what Muscle and Fitness says. She in turn goes to her weightwatchers meeting and asks the same question (told you she is an aries), they tell her the same thing.
Moral of the story, listen to you husband (LOL). Really as long as you have a goal, and map out your plan to get there, it does not matter what your method is. I am trying to get shredded (my wife had no idea what that meant, she laughed at my bodygroup title "Club Shred") and she is trying to get toned.
Weightwatchers or Muscle and Fitness, who cares, we are having fun.

This morning for the first time in two years, I picked up a basketball at the gym. When i was over 300 lbs, the thought never even crossed my mind.
Today I did an individual workout we used to do in college. I am still 285, but I was running up and down the court, shooting jumpshots, and to my surprise I could even still dunk. I was shocked!!!!
To my list of goals or reasons to get fit I want to play in a league starting in August. There are plenty of them out here and when I am at my goal weight of 240, I would be pumped!
