LEG DAY
Just thought I would write down the badass leg workout I had today… Started off at about 11:15AM with a 2 minute warmup jog, then went on to about 10 minutes of good stretching. 2 WU sets of leg extensions, then on to squats.
Squats
Set 1 (WU) - 135×10
Set 2 (Working set) - 225×20
Set 3 (Working set) - 275×6/7
Set 4 (Working set - 275×9 (had more energy this set because of a longer rest and didn’t just finish a 20 rep set)
Set 2-4 were supersetted with leg extensions, 100×10-12
Glute-ham raises, assisted with curl bar
3 sets of approximately 3×8 - my first time trying these, and they were killer, had nothing left in the backs of my legs after this
Leg press
Set 1 - 360×20
Set 2 - 450×15
Set 3 - 450×12
Finished off with another 5 minutes of stretching, and my legs have not stopped hurting (the workout ended 4 hours ago). Just thought I’d share this one, check back tommorrow for chest/shoulders.
