In the past few months i’ve been able to focus on weightlifting more than anything. For me it was sort of the offseason even though I still played basketball, baseball, and football every week. I was able to lift 5 times a week because all my sports were in the evenings and so I really zeroed in on getting stronger. Now that Football season is about to begin I will no longer be able to lift at home all week…I may only get in 1 or 2 lifts a week at home. I will be lifting at football though on mon, wed, and thur so its not like I wont be lifting. All I know is that I wont have as much time to focus on training because I will be focusing on football. I will also most likely loose some weight cuz of the 4 hour football practices in 90 degree weather also! so basically its going to be tough for me to be gaining as much as I have been and my weight training might start slowing down, but I will still do my best to continue progress pics and updating all my stats, and I hope that I can continue to gain quick and show great progress.

So just last week I was at home and I was pretty bored. I thought to myself that it would be cool just to teach myself something fun and different…so a random thought crossed my mind , and the idea that came to me was to teach myself how to walk on my hands! I’ve always thought that would be cool, but finally I decided to try it out. I was in my basement for about 15 minutes that first day learning and falling lol. I did get better in that first day though and every day since then i’ve continued getting better. Now I can hold it for a while and even walk a little… so another thought crossed my mind later on how to make it even more fun…maybe after I learn to walk on my hands I could try to learn to do pushups while standing on my hands! So if anyone thinks thats a cool idea and wants me to try to videotape myself doing pushups on my hands and put it on here let me know!

Ive heard many different things…well they are: stretching before or during workouts can limit muscle growth and the other thing ive heard is stretching before or during workouts can loosen up muscles to allow them to grow, so im stuck, whats the truth?
