This week’s recipe…Italian bean burgers
Italian Bean Burgers
1 lb. canned black beans, rinsed and drained
2 cups cooked brown rice
1/4 cup minced onion
3 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mash until beans are completely pulped and everything is well mixed. Form into 8 burgers, each about half an inch thick. Place burgers on lightly oiled nonstick skillet, flipping several times. Cook for 10 minutes or until browned.

That sounds pretty tasty. A little mustard & Kraft’s Olive Oil mayonnaise……..mmm. Can they be grilled, or will they fall apart?
