Well we are a a crucial point with our training. Remember when you said that 2009 was gonna be your year to change your health and your life back in January? Well now we are at a familar crossroads. about 6 weeks into the year and you are not seeing the changes you want to see. The training is very hard and sometimes even painful, yet you look in the mirror and you still don’t like that person that is looking back. In fact you are considering giving up right? Sound familar? Well before you do that i just want to tell you a few reasons why you shouldn’t give up. First you owe it to yourself and your family, especially chidren if you have any to get healthy and stay healthy so that you can be around for them. Second, not to get preachy or religous but God wants you to honor him with your body. It is supposed to be healthy and vital so that He can use you to inspire others. Third, remember that we did a lot of unhealthy things to our bodies over the years by living hard and fast and just eating and drinking a lot of things that are just not good for you. Sweets, fried foods, alcohol, lots and lots of bad foods made your body in bad shape over time. Now its gonna take some time for it to fall off. So when you find yourself saying, "why me?" change that phrase to "why not me?" and get back to it. Look on this site at most of these people’s profiles. The vast majority of bodyspace members who have great bodies now, did not have these great bodies just a few years ago. Look at their progress pics. They did it, I’m doing it and YOU CAN DO IT! So don’t give up, focus on the person you want to lokk back at you in that mirror every morning and work toward it. Sometimes that means battling your own body’s pain and soreness to push out that extra rep. Trust me It’s all worth it in the end. Good Luck on this marathon…. Its not a sprint, but nothing that is good ever is.

All of the time i’ve been involved in training, and that’s a lot of years I have been impressed with how beautiful women with solid lean muscle are. I was on this site the other day and a guy saw me and said man how can guys think a woman that looks like that is sexy. I said how can you not think that’s not sexy. I like any woman that takes care of herself anyway but when a woman is just strong and confident and is feeling great all the time about herself, that is extremely sexy to me. No knock on supermodels but i don’t want a 6′2" 85 lb woman. The same way with overweight women or to be politically correct, "Big Beautiful Women". Well to me, a Big Beautiful Woman is on a stage flexing her awesome bis and tris. I want a strong beautiful sexy and firm woman, not one that i have to put a sign on that says "fragile, handle with care". And you know the people who complain about health problems the most are people who don’t work out because they say they don’t want to look like a man or they are "comfortable in their own skin". I dare any of these critics to come here and tell me the women on this site look like men. I guess misery loves company. These people refuse to improve their health so they constantly bang on the people that do.

As you might have guessed, i am a fan of the tv show "The Biggest Loser". Last night i came away from watching the show with a bad bad taste in my mouth because of the gray team’s Joelle and her sorry attitude. She did not give it her all and at the weigh-in lost a total of "0" lbs. What was more sad than that was the fact she acted like she was unapolagetic that her team got voted off. I felt so bad for her partner and now "former" best friend Carla beacuse Carla worked so hard and weeks later at a renuion she was still unapolagetic for her lack of desire and overall laziness. Then the audacity to say she was giving it her all when she wasn’t really angered me. I wish the best for Carla but i don’t know if i feel the same about Joelle. This is the perfect example of someone who complains about their bad health yet refuses to pay the price to change her life. I hope to the people who read this isn’t like that or has a friend that is like that. If so get far away from them because that is NOT your friend.

I watched this show on TV the other night called "true beauty" this show from what i gathered, is an attempt to get incredibly beautiful and sexy people to show their "inner beauty". Well from what i saw, i’m not sure they will have a winner in the end. Man these people are all concieted and think the world is tgruly all about them. I implore people who are struggling to transform their body here on bb.com to please remember the person you once were on the inside once you do reach that transformation. I am so glad that my friends on here are so caring about each other. I am on another bodybuilding site where so many people are all abouit them and they only seem to accept requests from people whom they tend to think are worthy of their friendship. I say to all of thoise people, BITE ME! You’ll never be accepted as a true person on BB.com….once again I want to thank the guys on bb.com for being real.
