Gonna ad a workout day strictly for abs.
I know you can train abs almost every day. But after some days, particularly chest and back day, you are too spent to do abs. So instead of totally eliminating them, I just decided that my normal off days will be strictly for training abs. As long as i’m doing 40 minutes of cardio everyday, i’ll be ok without training abs everyday, so i’ll get 3 days of abs in each week. Here is my ab day workout if anyone wants to follow it.
Crunches 3×20
Reverse Crunches 3×15
Weighted Twists 3×20
Cable Crunches 3×15
Dumbbell Side Bends 3×10
Hanging Knee Raises 3×20
Keep in mind these are what I do. This might not be helpful to everyone and if you add weight you should adjust your reps according to how much weight you use just like any other exercises. Have fun and until next time, keep pumpin.
