Motivation

It’s been a rough couple of months for me. Thanksgiving day I found out my mom was very ill, and then a week before Christmas she was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma ( skin cancer ). Then on January 7th ( 3 days before my birthday) she lost her battle with cancer. During the past 2 months I was by her side almost everyday, which put a complete hold on my workout routine. Since her death I have had a very hard time getting back in to a routine. My motivation just isn’t there. I always find an excuse or a reason not to go to the gym. Which if you know me at all, is not like me. I am not super depressed or anything, don’t get me wrong I have my days. Some days are harder than others. But I just don’t know what to do to get that motivation back. I know I need to get back in the gym, I just don’t know how to syke myself up for it.

Another bump in the road…

Another bump in the road for me… I was having sharp pains in my left side yesterday it hurt to move it hurt to breath. I waited it out till this morning and went to the doctor. He thinks I strained my abs my obliques and part of my lower back. So I get muscle relaxers woohoo! So now I can’t work out for a week… which is going to drive me absolutley insane. I get stressed out almost when I can’t work out, it’s not a good feeling. But hopefully I will  be to drugged up to notice lol. So I have come to the conclusion that either my doctor is right and the muscle relaxers will work, or he is an idiot and he is wrong but I still get muscle relaxers out of it lol.

Pulled my quad…

September 23, 2007

Pulled my quad today playing soccer… it’s pretty soar, I have already iced it. Anyone have any advice, I have a soccer game again in 7 days and I want to get better as soon as possible.
