Stepping it up another notch!

Good afternoon all…..

9 weeks out as of tomorrow…! Can’t wait for the show! I am getting antsy.

Diet has been tweaked…easier to follow.. one day, same every day, straight across the board..

Doing tons oif cardio, weights and interval training! Kind of grumpy but trying to keep my cool. sugar free gum and green tea are my loves! Craving aren’t THAT bad right now, i don’t get anymore cheats so it is just time to FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!!!!

Hello all! Hope everyone’s 2009 year is going as great as mine! I’m tired and hungry, but feeling great!!! working reallllyyyy hard! I have taken new progress pictures, and will be uploading them today! As of this week i am 9 WEEKS OUT!! time is flying by!!!! less carbs, no more cheats and tons of cardio! I have been loading up my i-pod with great tunes to get me pumped and working my butt off!!!

Themewear has arrived - doesn’t fit just yet but it will!!!

I’m getting fitted for my posing suit soon! EXCITING! Everything is slowly, but surley coming together and i am getting excited…Nervous for being on stage for the first time though…

Updates this friday! measurements and weight…. scale goes up and down but i dont mind, its how i look that matters!!

Big changes coming…

I can feel it! I have been working hard…dieting hard.. a few slip ups here and there and some extra cheats that i felt guilty for afterward, but always got right back on track!

This morning i woke up feeling leaner than i looked last night and i am very energized this week and i hope it lasts a little while longer LOL!

New measurements and progress pictures this friday so stay tuned everyone! it will have been 2 1/2 weeks since the last pics, and i am hoping there will be some change, even a little change to keep myself motivated!!!

Themewear has been chosen! posing is being practiced, hair and nail appointments are being thought of, and soon, the whole package will come together!

Hello all

Hope everyone had a great holiday season and New Year! Here’s to 2009 - make it count - make it a healthy and happy year! Be your best and reach you goals!

I am currently 12 weeks out from my show - FAME WEST 2009 - bikini and fitness model.

My first!

Still need my 2 bikinis, themwear and i need to register but things are coming together slowly. posing practices are good - but those clear heels are hard to walk in because they dont have any platform! ahh. i have to get that part down! i cant be falling on stage

im currently lifting 4 x a week and cardio 6 x a week, sometimes 2 cardio sessions a day!

3 carb meals on training days and only 2 carb meals on non - training days..sundays only 1 carb! EEK!

hard, but seeinf results!

I’m doing it!! This sunday i say goodbye to my casual glass of wine…cream and sugar in my coffee and hello to a strict plan!!

my show is in vancouver on march 28th - my first!!! im so excited, scared, nervous, happy every feeling imaginable!

i will be doing bikini and fintess model categories! i will keep you updated!

Good weekend!

Hello all - i hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend! Today is December 1st! I can’t believe how fast time is flying by…soon i will be en route to my Mom’s place on the island for the holidays! I can’t wait to see her and the rest of my family and relax! I’m sure i’ll be dropping in to the small gym we have there!

I had a relaxing weekend….I was in the gym all weekend -which is a first for me because usually i would be hungover or doing something "more important" …

I cheated a little — had some red wine with the girls..but the next morning i did some cardio and last night did some cardio kickboxing! feels good …woke up very refreshed this morning!!

I took my measurements yesterday as well and i will be taking  them agani in 2 weeks time ..im excited to see if anything has changed!

All of my friends and people i know are aware that i am training hard….

So last night, my girlfriend uploaded some new pictures of us onto facebook…and in this one picture this guy that i know comments under it "Wow Andrea…i knew you were training, but your arms are bigger than mine - maybe you should settle down on the weights!"

 

im like….WOW!! Get over yourself and read a book!

Yeah, i should stop lifting weights because i might get TOO big!! Because girls just naturally have testosterone which allows them to get JUST huge!! So ignorant ….

I’m not giving up. i may have fat covering my muscles, but they are under there and they wanna come out! I may appear "big" sometimes but everything will eventually balance out!

I just shake my head and continue on my journey…..

 

Small changes - big results!

I always thought i was doing EVERYTHING i could to lose fat anf shape up! I was wrong….it’s huge what a few small changes will do. I became stricter on my diet and worked a bit harder, and i am already seeing changes….which makes me even more motivated to work even harder!!!

It’s definetley a good day today!

Happier than i have ever been!!!

I recently left my boyfriend of two years….about 3 months ago. It was a very toxic relationship…I won’t go into detail.

I thought to my self….how am i ever going to go through life by myself?? i was scared so i put off leaving for awhile…in fear that i couldn’t make it on my own…I had lost my independence!! i needed it back!

Things are going better than ever for me. I am focused on my OWN health and well-being, no longer into that life of drugs and excessive drinking, going out all night, etc.

I am single! and yes sometimes i get lonley…but i have time for me. I plan my meals, i plan my workouts…i have the occasional cheat…and i feel great about it and i have never looked better!!! I can only be better than i was yesterday….

and things are definetley looking up for this girl!!

New outlook on life…..

I’m back with a vengence!

I was stuck in a rut for awhile….got myself into a plateu…but i’m back on track and it feels good. Diet is in check, and i stepped up my training. I must be strict.

After all - it is winter and time to get serious, since it’s soo cold out and i’ll be wearingmore clothing - lol!

Can’t wait for next summer and i can go "Ta-Da!"

DIET AS FOLLWS :

6 Am - 4-5 boiled egg whites, 1/2 cup oatmeal, coffee or green tea

8:30 - protein shake, almonds, small apple

11:30/12 0 chicken or tuna, veggies, 1/2 cup cooked sweet potato

or huge chicken salad mixed with 1/2 cup brown rice

2:00- pre workout - 1/2 protein bar

3:30- post work out- protein shake

6 pm - same as lunch- but omit carbs

8:30/9- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
