Great DVD! I received this DVD from BB.com and I gained some great tips from Bob Cicherillo! I used some of them in my leg workout today. It’s funny that in the video Bob says how NOT to do certain exercises (form) and there are two instances where someone at the gym is doing it wrong…in the background.

Well, it’s back to the gym. I started going back to the gym after a break of almost three months. It was weird on my first day back in the gym (Sunday). I am only running for now. I have a 5K along the beach in Huntington Beach tomorrow:)
Now that I got my dream job, I will get back to the weight lifting:)

I got burned out. I took a break from the gym since 11/11. I have been riding my bike to the beach and back during lunch to get some cardio and outdoor air. I will be back soon but for now I am using the time to study in further my career:)

I was. As posted in my previous blog, I have been eating tuna out of the can and seeing the difference in my body. Since I eat a can about every day, I needed a change from tuna and mustard. My fiancee thought up this recipe and it is VERY GOOD:)
1 can of low sodium tuna in water
3 tsps of low fat ranch dressing
1 handfull of almond slices
1 handfull of dried cherries
The amounts are just estimate…adjust to your taste:)

My previous max on decline barbell bench was 225 lbs 10 times. Today, I did 225 lbs 12 times! I think that the new music on my MP3 player helped me get pumped up for it. The rest of my chest workout went great because of the energy that I had from getting a new max. Woowho!

Yesterday, I jogged the most distance that I ever jogged before. In preparation for the 5K run this Sunday, I decided to jog to the beach. It was a beautiful day here in OC yesterday. The trail is about 3.3 miles each way, so it’s close enough to a 5K. The jog to the beach was easier than normal for me, which was great! I stayed about 5 minutes at the beach to enjoy the awesome views and then headed back. It was a lot tougher going back as I am used to stopping at around 3.3 miles. But I did it! I jogged all of the way back. That equates to over 6.5 miles in less than an hour…more than I have ever jogged before in my life!

It took me over 6 weeks to go from 9 reps of 95 lbs to 10 reps of 95 lbs. It only took me 12 days to go from 10 reps of 95 lbs to 11 reps of 95 lbs! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We’ll see how long it take me to go to 12/95.

Well after reading ChickenTuna’s profile, blog, and website I started eating something I have never eaten before…tuna out of the can. I normally can’t stand tuna. The only tuna that I used to eat was seared Ahi Tuna…mmmmm. This week I went to the store and purchased some Bumblebee Premium Albacore Tuna in water (no broth either). I decided to error on the side of overpaying for premium rather than getting a deal on possibly sketchy stuff. The good new is that when I had my first can, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be…it wasn’t great either. I could eat it! YEA! Later in the week I found StarKist Very Low Sodium Chunk White Albacore Tuna in water. I am going to stay with the StarKist for now. I open a can, put some mustard on it to make the taste a little more tolerable, and eat up. Although, I eat tons of chicken, tuna out of the can is more convenient and nice for a change. I have been eating about one can a day.

For my chest workout today I took two scoops of Purple Wraath pre-workout and a bottle of Endorush during my workout. I usually take Shock Therapy and 1/2 bottle of Endorush. I had to really push (more than normal) to keep my stats or slightly improve them. I am going to stop using Purple Wraath as I am not impressed with it. I am going to continue to take Shock Therapy as I get a much better workout.

I was excited to see that I have improvements in most of my stats. I have noticed that my belt is on the last hole. When I checked my stats my waist went down from 36 to 35". My weight has gone up a couple of pounds too so that’s good. As stated in my previous blog entries, my strength is going up too! I am impressed with how cut some of the top profiles are here at BodySpace. I still need to work on definition.
