FAME Worlds Weekend is Actually Here!

You’ve waited two years for this weekend…it’s where the best of the best get on stage and rival it out…for what?  The title to become the WORLD CHAMPION!
The FAME World Championships and PRO Showdown will put the sizzle in Toronto this weekend as hot bodies swarm the city showing off what they’ve worked so hard for.

Watch the excitement unfold (either at the show or live on the internet) as the largest names in the fitness industry come together for the first time in two years to battle it out on stage! In addition to seeing these top athletes together, you get the chance to see what goes on in a Worlds contest; get motivation for getting yourself Body-Proud;  learn tips and tricks if you want to compete:  and you can see your role models live in action (on stage, at the autograph zone, or during on site photo shoots)!
For the FIRST time ever, the expo Marketplace that goes hand in hand with the Worlds is Free!  For all the newcomers to fitness this is the best spot to get in touch with hot photographers, scouts and potential sponsors to help you get to the top.  You’ll also get to meet the largest names in the fitness industry!  Bodybuilding.com’s Kris Gethin,  Oxygen’s editor-in-chief Stacey Kennedy, author of Holistic Detox for Body, Mind and Spirit and key note speaker Madeleine Marentette will all be at the Expo and the added Speaker Symposium that focuses on the visual, mental and emotional elements.

So What do you have to do?

1. Sit back, relax and think up a hilarious, ingenious or outrageous video that you can actually shoot which reflects some aspect of competing, the body or training.
2. Simply set up the scene and hit record
3. You must mention FAME or WNSO;  wear FAME clothing: or have the word FAME (preferably our logo) seen somewhere in the video
4. Video should be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes
5. Upload to Youtube.com
6. Post the video on as many sites as you can
7.     Recruit all your friends and fans to vote for you!
8. Submit your video to all community sites, such as Facebook (make sure to get the FAME World Championships event page), Myspace, FAME Forum, Bodyspace.com

How does the voting work?

Voting will be based on the following criteria:
a) 75% youtube.com ranking - this is based on number of views AND number of comments the video receives
b) 15% FAME Database Votes (once narrowed down) — This will be decided on Jan 7th, 2008
c)  10%  FAME Judging Panel (when narrowed down further) — This will be decided on Jan 18th, 2008

World Natural Sports Organization and the FAME World Tour are happy to announce it’s newest affiliation with the CSNS (Ceska Spolecnost Naturalniho Sportu) or the Czech Federation of
Natural Sports.

CSNS was founded in 2005 and  the new WNSO-CSNS headquarters are in the historical spa town of Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic, Europe.

The inaugural event will be taking place May 31, 2008 with the support of the organization’s title sponsor, Aminostar, one of Europe?s largest manufacturers in Nutrition products.

CALLING ALL ATHLETES!
The Road to FAME is fast becoming a multi-lane expressway and it is
being constructed with the bricks of your achievements!
Each day introduces new and innovative developments in the FAME
organization and we are excited to announce some administrative
changes to the 2008 FAME World Tour which will affect you  directly!
We have listened to your suggestions and have created a new
competition ladder that adds a new dimension of excitement and
challenge. Now, ONLY the highest level athletes can reach the top tier
of the FAME World Championships, making this the elite showcase of
your accomplishments.
The best vs. the best!

To reach this ULTIMATE competition plateau, all athletes must first
advance along the FAME ladder of success by competing in a REGIONAL
show. Winning &/or placing well in a Regional show will then determine
if you can advance a Level and actually participate on the FAME World
Championship competition stage!
These new developments will not only create added excitement, but also
raise the level of competition at each event and make the Regional
shows a mandatory component for competition success!
Know that when you hit the stage at the FAME World Championships that
you are truly going to be tested. The competition will be tough, the
expectations high, and the win…. Glorious!
New Guidelines for the Worlds:

The FAME World Championships features the WNSO Pro Show as the
exclusive highlight event of the weekend (Saturday night).

The only other athletes who can compete at the FAME World
Championships (on Friday & Sunday) are those who have attained their
Advanced/Elite status (Level 3/4) or those who compete in the general
categories of age, pairs, bikini, muscle model & physically/mentally
challenged.

An Athlete’s Journey:

Athletes MUST pre-qualify at a REGIONAL event where they must secure
Level 3, Level 4 &/or Pro Status in order to reach the World
Championship event making this an ultimate, exclusive competition of
the highest caliber .

FAME Regional Shows act as Pro Qualifiers! Attend a Regional show and
gain your Level 3 status!
FAME Regional Shows provide the ONLY competition opportunity for
athletes to move up the Competition Tier System from Level 2 & Level
3.
Regional shows allow for added exposure and a chance to impress. Show
your best form to both Judges and Sponsors. Remember this is your
opportunity to shine! Use the Regional events to build your momentum
and showcase your abilities. Gather momentum, photos, awards and
results and channel those into lucrative sponsorship dollars!
Athletes who have already established their credentials with Level 3,
Level 4 &/or Pro Status are granted eligibility to the FAME World
Championships without being required to compete at a Regional Event,
however we encourage all Level 3 athletes to use our Regional Events
as promotional opportunities for yourself and your sponsors. And of
course it is always good to psyche-out the competition!

How to Advance to the Next Level:
Level 1 to Level 2:
All athletes and newcomers to FAME begin at Level 1. In order to
Advance to Level 2 and to qualify for a Regional Show, athletes must
do one of the following:

Attend a FAME Camp

Take the FAME Online Cyber-Camp

Attend a FAME Qualifier Audition (more info TBA)
Be ‘initiated’ by select WNSO Pro Athletes

Level 2 to Level 3 and Level 4:
Advancement to Level 3 and Level 4 is dependent on the number of
athletes in a division following the criteria below:

Under 5 Athletes: Top 3 advance or it’s up to the discretion of the
Head Judge
6 - 15 Athletes: Top 5 advance to Level 3. First place advances to
Level 4.
15 - 25 Athletes: Top 10 advance to Level 3. First place advances to
Level 4.
Over 25 Athletes: Top 15 advance to Level 3. First place advances to
Level 4.

Level 3/4 to Level 5 (Pro Status):

To win Pro Status, athletes must be the Overall Winner from Level 3/4
(Advanced/Elite Status) at select Regional events. However, there must
be enough contenders for the Overall Title. If not, the winning
athlete must be approved by the Head Judge as having met all criteria
necessary to be given status as a WNSO Pro.
There’s More! Let’s Talk About Prizes!
As the FAME World Tour continues to grow, so too are the competitor
prize packages! We are working now at assembling some fantastic prizes
for our competition winners and will make formal prize announcements
on or before January 31, 2008!
One exciting prize opportunity that we just have to share now is a new
development within our publishing division, and one that is geared
toward athlete promotion and opportunity: FAME will be publishing our
very own COMIC BOOK series featuring characters based on our athlete’s
likenesses!
Our story is currently in development and we have an internationally
recognized art team on board to create a very exciting, action-filled
and beautifully rendered comic book which feature a select number of
WNSO Pros and highlight them in the two-dimensional world of the
graphic novel!
Part two of this exciting prize package includes the promotion of the
comic book at trade shows, on television, in print and beyond!

We are working to deliver prize packages that not only reward you for
your efforts but also create opportunity for industry growth.
