Started Madcow’s 5×5

It seemed only fitting that I should adopt Madcow’s workout routine /smirk/. So I did. I like it. It’s a good mix of challenging exercises without annoyingly long sets. I can keep focused for five reps; going for eight and ten and twelve is  beyond my attention span. I’ve taken before pictures (which I’d upload, but then Tara won’t put out ;) — jk, Idc) and will post progress pictures and fat measurements every week or two.

I think that’s it. BB.com will soon see the new and improved me, and then watch out.

SQUATS - *please* check if I have proper form

I’ve never done squats before but want to start. I’ve taped myself in the gym this morning, to show how I understand squat form. If you know what you’re doing, please message/comment and let me know if I’m doing them right or wrong.

PLEASE NOTE THE SIDE VIDEO. I think I arch my back incorrectly (backwards) and it isn’t straight. That looks wrong.

Please advise.
