Start Me Up!

I leave for Special Forces Assessment and Selection.  I am excited and anxious to get started in this new chapter of my military life.  I feel blessed to have the support of my wife, my family, and my friends.  It’s only 14 days but don’t let that fool you. It won’t be easy. Then again, if it was easy, it wouldn’t be Special Forces.

I’ve had a great time in the mechanized infantry and worked some amazing Soldiers.  Being a platoon leader in Iraq was a rewarding experience.  It’s time for me to keep stepping forward in faith and seeing where God wants me to go. I truly believe that I am in God’s will in this and will be sucessful as long as I do my best and keep honoring God for giving me this new opportunity to serve my country.

I’ll be back online around the middle of June.  Thanks for all the support and encouragement throughout this past year, even during my brief hiatus from bb.com.  Lift hard and stay strong! — Viper
