8 Weeks Out 2013
Once again the diet has been going great. I am actually losing weight too rapidly and must slow down. I was 174.6 lbs this monday when i was supposeed to be 178 lbs. Today Wednesday I am 175.6. Next monday i should be 176.5 lbs so we will see. I think i have been doing too much cardio and my metabolism is so fast im losing a lot of weight. This weekend i went home for grad party and fathers day. I had a cheat meal last friday (popcorn at movie) and i lost weight that next morning. I also had a cheat meal at fish market fathers day where i had a cod meal and i had cake and key lime pie. I thought i ate a lot so i missed most meals for the day. Well the next morning i was super light. I thnk i was very dehydrated from the weekend too. Anyway it was bad.
I am supposed to be eating 2030 cals a day to lose weight but im eating upwards of 2400 cals a day and losing weight which i guess is good. Im going to stick on diet as is. upping oatmeal in morning and i also added skinny cow ice cream post workout instead of maltodextrine. Less calories and delicious. Hopefully my weight will normalize soon if not i will have to up calories. Also on cheat days i need to up calories by eating my normal meals mostly. mhmm not sure.
Overall diet is good tho. food is great. ground beef is amazing and so is the ice cream sandwhiches. In a couple weeks i will start eating tilapia. sweet potatoes? idk. and ezekial bread.
Starting to get very gassy. Tums may be working idk. only drinking about 25 cups of water a day which is about a gallon and a half. should start drinking more maybe.
Starting to get angry and have really bad anxiety right now. Looking for a job is tough. Love internship tho. Not hungry at all tho. Just anxious and nervous for some reason.
9 Weeks Out 2013
Diet has been going great so far. not hungry at all especially when on work days. Demolishing my meals tho. Metabolism is firing. I take in around 2100 cals - 2400 cals a day. when im supposed to only have 2030. Just started using myfitpal again and i love it. Im able to IIFYM much easier. I did a cheat day saturday while i was in GR at parade, festival, baseball game. I fit my macros and lost weight the next day, like on memorial day. Also had a "cheat meal" at applebees with steak that fit in perfectly. These are kick starting my metabolism and aiding weight loss. This week im supposed to be 179 but got down as low as 177 after the subletting nightmare in aa day. No refeeds yet. Im looking much leaner and looking to be 168 ish on stage. hopefully not any lower. Food remains the same however starting using extra lean ground beef for dinner this week. See how it goes. Using cinnamon on oats and crushed red peppers on dinner and chicken meals to aid in fat loss. Everythign is going good. Looking lean. continuing the 1-1.5 lbs loss per week.
10 Weeks Out 2013
Cutting is going great so far. 180.5 lbs 10 weeks out. Loosing weight at the right pace. going at about 1.5 lbs / week right now. Looking to get down to 170 lbs on stage and I think that is a decent guess. Some days I look very lean, especially after lifting in good lighting. My abs are pretty visible, veins on bis, wrist, forearms, calves, neck, chest and shoulders. My legs feel very tight. BF % at 10 % trying to get below 4. Which layne norton calculater said would take 8-11 weeks so i should be on. I know i need to get shredded!
Diet so far has been easy. Going for about 9 weeks now. Maintained a lot of size. Waist slimming down. Same foods every day. no refeeds and only one or two cheat days/meals. May start refeeding or cheating once a week. We will see.
11 Weeks Out 2013
I have about the same diet as i have the past 2 years.
meal 1 - eggs and oatmeal
meal 2 - tuna fish sandwhich, protein shake, banana
meal 3 - pwo shake with maltodextrine
meal 4 - chicken and brown rice and brocolli
meal 5 - chicken, greens and evoo
meal 6 - cottage cheese and natty pb
total Calories - 2150 Fats -58 Carbs - 210 Pro - 235
Diet seems to be working great. Once stalls i will only decrease oats and brown rice amount. but should be good for a while. Also not as strict this year on cut. Will not do refeeds rather when the time arises I can have a cheat meal or cheat day. More flexibility for sure. First few weeks i was very full in morning. Starting to down food very quickly. Not extremely hungry when there is no temptations. Starting to chew a lot of gum now tho. But overall i feel fine. Lotta energy. Caffeine at work. Feeling good. MUST GET LEAN!
2 Weeks Out
My regular diet is officially over. It went great i loved the last few weeks. Very consistent diet. the exact same food and time every day. I have lost a good amount of weight and am exactly where i want to be. I was 163.4 this morning and look to loose at most 2 more lbs so i am under 165 lbs. I made my peak week diet which i will be starting thursday. On monday i will start my carb load. Friday and sunday are done but may change depending on my weight and how i look. I still feel great although i have been pretty edgy latlely and extremley exhausted and tired. I am very lean tho much leaner than i was last year and very vascular! my legs and calfs and forearms are insane. I gained 13 lbs of lbm in 9 months naturally and couldnt be happier but inorder to make weight i will have to lose a bit of it but will have no problem gaining it back in a few months. excited for peak week!
3 Weeks Out
My diet is still going great. I am leaning up extremely well. I was 165 lbs today and still feel great. I have been using my hydroxystim samples and will begin Cellucore super HD in a few days. The fat burners are working. I am always full, not starving, and still dont have major cravings. I chew a lot of gum and drink a lot of water with MIO which is amazing, to keep me sane and its working. My diet has not changed much at all since i first started and has been very consistent for the last few weeks. Since i started working and walking 4 hrs a day i have been dropping weight drastically and one day i upped my carbs a little too much and gained to 167 but it was mostly water and i will continue with my diet. My main concern is weighing in under 165. Im not sure how much different their scale will be compared to mine and in the middle of the day and at night i am 3-5 lbs heavier. I dont want to mess with my peak the day of the show so i look to be 162-163 the morning of my show to be sure i make weight and can fill out easily with that, especially low carb and water. Im looking great otherwise, very lean and tuesday and wednesday i was extremely vascular, but when i upped my carbs sunday and my carb up day monday i could tell i was holding water and very soft with no vascularity when i lifted, towards the end of my lift i was looking a little better tho. I need to keep it simple and on track!
4 Weeks Out
The diet is still going great, i feel energized and full. I am about 167 lbs right now and was 166.4 at one point this week. I started working this week, i campaign and walk door to door every day for about 4 hrs outside. I burn a lot of calories and this week my weight has dropped a solid 1-2 lbs because of it. I am no longer doing HIIT unless I am not under 165 in 2 weeks. The low intensity walking everyday is doing enough. I have developed a day to day schedule with work and it is going great. I wake up around 1030, eat, work 12-4, while eating at 2 pm, workout at 5 then go home. Being awake longer helps spread out my meals and in turn i am loosing weight. I look extremely lean! Compared to last year I am leaner now then i was 1 week out last year. This means I have gained 10-13 lbs of lean muscle in about 9 months. I can not believe it. And i did it naturally! I am very excited about that. I look to be 165 2 weeks out and a solid 163-164 peak weak. I need to be under 165 for weigh in. My muscles are separated and many are striated, I think i may even have striated glutes which would be amazing! I also shaved my whole body this week and it has made me look much leaner then i did with the hair. Overall the diet is amazing, i still dont have cravings and am not starving!
5 Weeks Out
My diet is still going great. The current diet is fish, brown rice, and broccoli for post workout and the rest is the same. I love that meal, it is filling and tastes great. I do 2 refeeds which help. I am not starving or hungry what so ever, and dont really have many cravings. I feel great and am full of energy. Im not sure if it is the diet, the fact that i did it last year, or the fat burners. Last weekend i forgot to take the fat burners at night on two occasions and could definitely feel a difference. I was getting tired and hungry and didnt feel like i normally did while taking them. I think they work great and are giving me a more intense work out. I love them. I am consistently at 169 but am continuing to look more and more lean. I have retained my size and am much bigger than last year. I must be shredded and have 5 more weeks to do so. I look to weight in right under 165 and be huge and shredded on stage. I need to loose about 4-5 more lbs which is a lb a week. I havent changed my diet much, meaning calories and carbs, but if im not 168 at 4 weeks out i will have to cut carbs, most likely a cup to 3/4 cup of brown rice post workout should do it. I am very excited and am very motivated this 5 weeks out. Its game time and i am a little nervous about being shredded. I must focus and be conditioned. Conditioning will win me this show!
6 Weeks Out
My diet is going great. I am around 170 lbs at 6 weeks out. I have been losing exactly 1.5 lbs a week and have maintained all of my size. I am very happy about it so far. I am eating the same diet as when i started, i am very full much of the day and havnt had extreme craving yet. Still havnt cheated, but havnt felt the need to. I have a lot of energy, maybe due to the scorch fat burners, or amount of food i am not sure, but i am very happy about it. I am finishing up my last few steak meals and for the remainder of the diet i look to have tilapia, brown rice, and broccoli post workout and chicken and spinach before bed, the rest of the diet keeping the same. And i finally found ezekiel bread! I will be trying that for the first time today. I hope everything continues to go as planned and in the next 6 weeks i hope to lose some more weight in order to weigh in at under 165. 1 lb a week puts me at around 164 which is right on track.
7 Weeks out 2012
Diet is still going great. I am loosing at a steady and controlled pace. (1-2lbs a week closer to 1.5) My mass is still there and I hope to put on a small amount of muscle. 7 weeks out and am 171.8 lbs. I will try to be under 165 for weigh ins but as big as possible on stage. But I would like to be extremely lean to win. another 7-10 lbs is the most i would hope to lose to stay big and very lean. I am very excited. I havnt been hungry yet! No real cravings and am doing my carb up days twice a week. My attitude is good and I am not too edgy. I believe my fat burner (scorch) is doing its job and is helping a lot. My diet is great. I think im going to cut out bananas for rice cakes for now. close to 2 gallons of water a day. Everything is good!
8 weeks out diet
Diet has been going good. For the first week I was extremely full in the mornings and all day and it was very hard to eat. Now I am still full in the morning but starting to get cravings at night. Changing my diet a bit and being more stricter starting today. I am loosing at a good pace. 1-2 lbs a week. My size is still there but I am excited to get shredded. I think with more sleep (8-9 hrs) a night i will starting leaning out a bit more. 8 weeks left at 174.4 this morning. I hope to be 165 at weigh ins and big and shredded for the show. Time to win this thing.
