Maybe someone can explain this to me:
I can do soooo well all day, eating right and being healthy and working out etc etc… but I always get my cravings for bad foods at night. Now I know I’m always up late but I seem to have a weakness for bad foods once it gets dark. Is it that my years prior to this have built bad habits, or is my body trying to tell me something. Some days it craves sugar but other times salty foods so it’s not even consistent.
Is it something I may be doing wrong during the day or am I just going to have to develop more of a backbone and learn self-discipline?

It’s been two weeks since I started my "transformation". My weight dropped 3 pounds and rose back up again when I went on vacation and was eating at restaurants (despite my attempts at soup and salads and overall relatively healthy meals) and not being able to go to a gym. But I’m back and ready as ever to push myself and become a new person (or at least a new body). I have dramatically changed my eating habits, limiting fat content to only the good kinds (where possible), limiting my carbohydrates, and just eating as much fruits and veggies as I can, and never allowing myself to go hungry. I’ve been pumping up my workouts at the gym, trying to increase my cardio from 30 minutes to 40-60 minutes daily and I’m now training on a three day cycle. One day for my legs, one for my arms and one for my back. I try to do abs every day but extra on my back training days. In one week my weight dropped thee pounds and despite going back up I am now confident that I can see the changes I want. I have one month until I go to New York and I want to look my absolute best while I’m there so here it goes!

So, I inquired at the doctor today about weight loss and suppliments and about my body fat being properly measured. And they don’t have the equipment to measure it properly, nor did he have much to say on weight loss for me because I don’t all into the category he worries about. Which is good, I guess… but I’ve never been in that category and not getting advice because I’m not a big concern really doesn’t help ME much!

Hello everyone on bodybuilding.com.
I’m just starting a new workout and diet program in attempt to completely change my body. I admit, it is very much about wanting to look sexy and feel good in my body. I’m not a body builder, or even an athlete. I just want to lose fat and have a sculpted, lean looking body.
Reading the transformation stories on this site has so far been my best motivation, so I decided to join up to the blog in hopes of meeting people in similar circumstances and conditions who could help keep me motivated.
I’ve always worked out and been relatively in shape, which is why I never bothered dieting. I was always trying to maintain my shape rather than lose weight or fat, but, I swear as soon as I turned 20, my metabolism decided to slow right down and I put on weight. So with that as well as just a new-found determination to have a sexy stomach, has prompted me to add a healthy diet plan and more intense training to my workout.
So, I ask anyone to just drop me a message with advice and motivation. I know how hard a time I’ll have sticking to this long term without help.
Thanks everyone.
