Mother Nature KOs VT Dad
I will run in cold, rain, and snow. I don’t like wind and depending on the temperature I may or may not run in wind, but I will NOT run in ice. When I woke up there was a thin layer of ice on the roads, and more potentially falling soon according weather.com. So I’m sitting it out for this morning.

Good call…the key to outdoor survibval is knowling your environment and respecting the conditions. We have this drummed into us early if we are involved in the outdoors. Hope the weather improves for you by the afternoon…

Agreed, very good call!! How long do winters last over there (ha, that didn’t sound as dumb in my head…)?

Very good idea! There are so many "runners" here in CO that fall on the ice and break something, it’s ridiculous. Take care, and hopefully things won’t be icy for long!

Yeah, training is ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is NOT sensible sometimes. I’m so glad I’m not so obsessed (or dedicated, whatever you want to call it) as I was when I was cycling at the top level. Or maybe i still am, and have just made some boundaries?
