Friday, December 14th, 2007My "Celestial Seasonings" tea came with a sample pack of a new flavor called, Madagascar Vanilla Red, when it occurred to me that those who like the flavor of vanilla but do not want to add vanilla extract (unhealthy) to their oatmeal can just steep a bag of this tea in a cup and use it to cook their oatmeal. You’ll get a nice vanilla flavor and/or you can also add some whole cloves, cinnamon (my favorite), and splenda. ..yummy. I always come up with great ideas! You have to be inventive when eating healthy. And, if you like fruity flavors, why not try using fruity teas too?
