Well I mad it. Thanksgiving is over, and I didn’t sabatage myself too bad. I worked that day and they had a Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings, but knowing that I was going to eat with family when I was off, I ate a little bit of mashed patatos and gravey and a salad. Then when I met up with the family aI only ate a moderated size plate, and get this, I didn’t go back for seconds, and of that I am proud. I did cheat a little and had 2 bite sized cheescake cups, but with all the other sacrifices I made that day, it was a reward.

Bring it on baby one down, and the rest to go.

God, I haven’t had a day that is going to be this long since I left the Marine Corps…wait there was a couple of days that went this long if not longer when I was a bodyguard. Needless to say it is going to be a LONG one, at least no matter how tired I get I know I was able to stay committed. I am finishing my first week of my new work-out program, and today was supposed to be the perfect day. Wasn’t supposed to go into work until 1430, so I could sleep in a bit and relax, recover, and then hit the gym and go to work. Well that all went to hell when I was told yesterday that I have to go to a mandatory CPR Training Class today from 0800-1200. So now I have to be at work from 0800-2300. Don’t get me wrong I am going to love the O.T. but I spent all day trying to figure out where to put in time for they gym. At first I thought I would just go after work at around 2330, but then I realized I have to be at work again tomorrow at 0630, so the only way I could hit the gym, and not mess up my routine is to get up at 0400 and get the gym out of the way early, giving me a 19hr day at minimum. As much as this is going to be a long one, I am happy I didn’t make an excuse to NOT go. Now if I can only use this discipline to help me in my eating habits, I will be able to stop sabotaging all my hard work. Time will only tell.
