Cardio
Today was a cardio morning. I ran a 5 mile endurance routine that alternated between 5.5 and 5.8 MPH. It was challenging but not as much as before. My body adapts to running routines very easily…maybe that means I’m good LOL. I felt good after my run today.
I made a big mistake and stepped on the scale today and YIKES I’m up a pound. Granted my legs are pretty sore from yesterday so MAYBE they are holding water?? My body fat stayed the same (I don’t use the ACTUAL number just the up and down movement). I want to make something clear…I’m not really looking to lose much weight, if any, I just want to QUIT gaining. My fears of eating are returning with each pound as I see myself getting further and further away from where I want to be

Gaining weight is always scary so I understand what you’re feeling. You probably are holding water, weight fluctuates quite a bit on a day-to-day basis. You won’t keep going up in weight, your body will stabilize when it realized it’s not in danger of starvation. You may still be below YOUR body’s setpoint weight, a weight your body functions best at. That is different for everyone.

1 lb is nothing. Especially in a single day measurement. My weight can fluctuate 3-5 lbs day to day on the scale. So I usually weigh myself 3 days in a row, at the same time in the morning, before I take the number as being accurate.
Thanks for the comment on my pic. My friend did make me look both small & fat……..LOL. But I know I’m in good shape, so it doesn’t bother me.

Fluctuating is the key word. Mine never goes down, just up,up, and away!

Agrees about the set point. Maybe you just haven’t reached your set point yet.
