Once Again…

I designed a killer workout that looked so much easier on paper.  My arms are on FIRE as I type this.  Instead of going too much lighter on my home days I decided to stick with the 10 pound DBs and it was quite a workout.  I did Front today and I used 2×15 but on some I could only get to 12!  The workout only lasted 35 minutes but man it was HARD.  I do 2 supersets of exercises and then 2 AB moves and I repeat that 3 times with 6 different supersets.  When I’m not running as much I will add cardio to the end on the treadmill but right now I go running either before or after so I don’t need to use the treadmill.

2 days away from the 5K with my DD.  She has done so awesome.  Last night she ran .7 on her own without stopping.  She is a pretty good runner.  Today we will go for a longer walk and then rest on Friday.  I think she will LOVE crossing the finish line!  She’s a lot like m, she takes a lot of pride in her accomplishments.   Then after the race we are having a family BBQ at our house since we live in the country.  I do plan to have a drink…after running my slowest for 3.1 miles I DESERVE a drink but it will be a light beer or something alongs that lines.  At 100 pounds it doesn’t take much to get me buzzed and I hate that so I don’t drink hardly ever LOL.  We are grilling lean burgers, homemade coleslaw (my recipe using LF yog), baked beans, fruit, chips (I don’t eat them because of sodium overload) and I’m making a lemon/blueberry pie (another special recipe LOL).  That night we are taking the girls to the fireworks at a nearby lake so that should be fun.

Workout:

Front-10 lb DB

3 mile walk with friend

1.5 mile walk with DD
