Till first photo shoot of the year at the Arnold :) Began getting my diet back in order last month. Still throwing a cheat here and there in. As of this week though it’s cleaning up even more. I am feeling much better about this year and maintaining a lower body fat and not going crazy. I will be getting my body fat done here in another week and all my measures. I started back at 159 pounds about 4 weeks ago. Last weigh in was almost 2 weeks ago at 155.2. Body fat loss is more the goal versus weight. I know the weight I would like to be around is 140 pounds. Not going to make that by photo shoot time, but I’m not really focusing on this shoot as an end goal. My end goal is ultimately to keep a life-style food plan, and that’s what I’m shooting for. I’m not really sure on what competitions I would like to do this year, if any at this point. I will get some photos uploaded here eventually to show progress.

3 weeks down, 11 to go before my first show of the year.
This is the week last year I started noticing changes in my physique. I see it already taking place. So far hunger has been a tad later in the evening but not to bad. This week will be quite crammed and full. I have 3 work-out’s a day now from this point forward. I get one day off a week. I’m also going to the Arnold this weekend so that means cramming them in before saturday. Which also means less sleep and a bit of crustiness forecasted. If I don’t get sleep or my food on time when dieting it’s not good to be around me… Working on this this year but I can’t help some of the inevitable.
So here’s to week 4!

ALRIGHT today is the official day! Day 1…. 14 weeks I will be up on stage again!!!!
I’m so excited I am comparing last years’ numbers with this years’.
So 14 weeks out:

Date, day of the week, Weight, and Tantica scale BF measure
APRIL 10 2006 Monday 152.4 30.2
February 5 2007 Monday 169 32.6

The only difference last year I had no cheats the day before everything was taken, this year I did. So some is residual H20 weight.

Going to get calipered soon. Last year I started 29-30% BF according to trainer.
I need to get tape comparisons up, and again I’ll do the pictures.. Maybe comparisons with last year as I progress.

I actually have added that much weight on since September. From my July ‘06 show till mid august I took a break. Then from mid-august to mid-september I went to Hungary for a month. So I started my bulk mid-september. So 4.5 months of killing it at the gym. We will see what I did here in due time!

I’ll post up some more blogs as I continue progressing and as my mind goes out the window and hormones get all jacked up. LOL

I’m still figuring out exactly how I’m going to go about my cut this time around for my show. I find it very irritating when everyone ‘thinks’ their way is the best and only way to get lean. I get annoyed when people say stuff like,”Your cycle is all jacked up”, or “Why are you not cutting already, you need to be”, or “why are your training for strength right now, you shouldn’t be?” It almost makes me want to do it ten times worse to show them I can do what I feel like doing. It would be different if they were suggestions, but to state blantly everything I do is screwed up, they can get bent.

I’m not saying I have all the answers but I get the most enjoyment out of creating my work-outs, and food programs to go with them. I find if I follow a plan of someone else’s I feel like I gave up my freedom to do what I want and it ends up feeling like another job, another boss I have to report too, and takes the fun right out of competition for me.

So if I don’t follow a ‘plan’ don’t knock on me. I’m trying new things, experimenting with how my body responds to different foods, or training stimulus’s, and I am enjoying being my own science experiment.

I love suggestions and other view points, just don’t shove them at me and get pissy if I don’t use them right then.

So… breaking the mold of how I will cut will probably be another venue. I don’t want to hear how I’m not going to be ready at show time, blah blah blah… I was up there last year and will be again in May.
