Number 1 song goes to everyone out there doing this thing
We belong to the world we belong to the wind
We are the spirit of the competition’s end
Turning hours into days burning muscles feel the pain
The heart and soul of discipline my friends
We are sending you a challenge it’s very clear
We came to win that is why we are here
Demanding to be tested, tested by the best
Not to be forgotten like all the rest
The time has come all the training done
The muscle and the blood will come to pay
Let the game begin hear the starting gun
Play from the heart today we will overcome
When the game is over all the counting’s done
We were born to win number 1
Today is the day all the training through
We have come for the number one not the number two
Let the contest begin play hard fight to win
Immortality victory and fame
The time has come all the training done
The muscle and the blood will come to pay
Let the game begin hear the starting gun
Play from the heart today we will overcome
When the game is over all the counting’s done
We were born to win number 1
Today is the day all the training through
We have come for the number one not the number two
Let the contest begin play hard fight to win
Immortality victory and fame
Let the game begin hear the starting gun
Play from the heart today we will overcome
When the game is over all the counting’s done
We were born to win number 1

Well my camera is shot, so I will not be able to take pictures or video at least until I find someone I can borrow it from. But I can share some of my thoughts with everyone willing to read this journal.
I have intentionally placed everyone in the category because this post is about everyone in this competition. I would like to share my opinion about the competitors and how I have seen them in short time I spent in this competition, and also, I would like to encourage others to write the same in some of the next blogs as we near the end of this game we play.
As I said this blog post is about everyone taking part in this competition, not only the competitors but the people made all this possible. I would like to avoid sounding like a miss pageant so I will skip "thank yous" to the sponsors and yada yada yada…I believe they know we are grateful for the opportunity.
Anyways I would like to say special thanks to the man Richard, our admin. Without his efforts we would be lost half way. Thank you Richard.
What can I say about Isaac? Well I learned he’s got great taste in music and I always enjoyed his videos he posted, and I enjoyed some of the great stories he told us, some were true adventures. I must admit I am a bit jealous of him, after all he is a great photographer, something that impresses me a lot. What ever happened to your shaping goals man, we are still backing you up!
And there is Josh. I still hate my self for entering this competition through his misfortune. Life is one big, well I guess you know what. If I understood correctly, SCT is almost fully recovered from his injury and already planning a new challenge by Muscletech, and I want to wish him all the best with his future goals.
Jason is another mystery for me. I have a feeling he is such an emotional person, in a good way of course, and the fact he found his happiness with his wife and daughter just makes me warm in the heart. I know you can’t see much progress but there is a great achievement behind you already. OK, maybe you didn’t lost much weight, or achieved the look you desire, but you made a positive change in life. Sometimes, no matter how hard we fight, sometimes life gets the better of us. I just wanted you to know you have my full support, and when this thing ends in a couple days, don’t think I will forget about you, you can count on me any time.
Dave is a big man, in more than one way. I found we have much more in common than it could be seen in the beginning. This man has a great sense of humor but he can be serious when needed and place a right word where needed. He has a long fight before him and I just know it will not be an easy one. That just makes him a biggest fighter of us all, I mean we have to loose 20 - 30lbs and we are there, but he has to loose a whole Maddie to get where he wants to be. Dave my man mark my words: If you ever decide to quit and give up on the battle you started and start listening to that demon from Narnia, just remember there is one crazy Serb out there waiting to kick your a$$, and we all know demons can’t compare to Serbs
Maddie, well Maddie is Maddie, right I mean she is the reason we others loose motivation with every new progress pictures upload. Couple more weeks and she is ready for a fitness competition. You came a long way and you showed us all how the fine finish is done. You showed great progress both physically and psychologically, and through some of your posts you gave us insight to your librarian soul and I have seen it’s a wast and beautiful place. Which ever the path you decide to take after this competition I wish you all the best.
Finally there is Steph. I am not sure if I can write anything else about this woman I haven’t said before. I remember when she left the first post on my BodySpace page, I was thinking she was a random visitor but than she came again and again and than every week she gave me encouragement and she still remains one of rare cyber-friends I gained over the time. Determination, strength, especially strength intensity, I mean I could go on forever with these epithets that go with her and I would still not do her justice. When I take a step back and take look at this group from the day you told me there is a competition going on at bb.com to this very day, I just know you are the one who deserves the gold and highest pedestal to stand on.

I just did my count and here is the bottom line.
From the February 3rd I have lost 13.2 lbs of body weight, and lost no strength so my best guess is no or very small percent of muscles is lost.
I have reduced my body fat percentage by 4.5% and thus lowering my waist circumference by 2 1/2 inches.
Not bad for a replacement LOL, anyways there are two more weeks to go and I think I can take down even more and I promise I will!
BTW tomorrow you will see me doing some boxing moves, and it will show you only the glimpse of the intensity I put in my workouts

And here we are, not two small weeks out from the final destination of this contest. The day we all started was the day of happiness and enthusiasm for all. We were just beaming with positive energy radiating it in all directions, and look at us now…
There are few things I learned in my life, and I tend to apply this experience in all the aspects of my life. Hard work pays out in the long run, positive attitude will always get you to the right place, keeping the fun in all the stuff that you do will make even the worst job look like a game. And than I look at my friends from the BodySpace challenge 2008 and I can only see serious people. Serious is what gets you heart attack and nervous break downs , stop being so damn serious. There is one thing for sure, if you can not keep the fun in your workouts and your fitness life style for only three months, how can you expect to do it your entire life?
I can feel you enthusiasm falling down, why? This is supposed to be the happiest time of your life, you are finally changing something for the better and than you loose enthusiasm, LOL.
I just wish I can be there with you all and push you through the hard moments. Instead I can YELL ONLINE: GET OF YOU A$$ AND KEEP ON PUSHING FORWARD

Yeah I finally started to loose weight, this morning I am down to 237.6 lbs, down 3.3lbs from the last week. I had to cut calories additionally, but I am adopting fast.
It is interesting how a human organism reacts in situation where it is forced out of balance and make changes. It will do anything to get you back in a comfort zone. Remember that little guy inside of our head, Jumbo talked about a few posts earlier? Well my little man is no jelling at me, he is not screaming and kicking, telling me to stop this nonsense. No, he is a smooth talker, he knows me better than anyone else and he knows I will not react to force. Instead, he uses a more subtle method to make me bend and brake. Sometimes I even don’t notice him dragging me down. LOL am I making any sense LOL
Anyways here are the progress pictures for this week:

OK I just wanted to show some side by side pictures from the day my transformation started back in November 2007 till this day:

I seem to be unable to move from the dead spot. I am holding the same wight entire week, and no obvious progress is made. I am a bit worried since I am not sure what is the problem. Right now I am trying to experiment with all sorts of stuff. Re-feeding helped with energy levels, but the weight stayed the same. I have also noticed some strength drop but I have so much work through out the day I hardly manage it.
I am currently trying to experiment how much does my blood type has effect on my diet. I found this place on the web that has a great source of info for the food types and what it does to a certain blood type (not a commercial):
I found something about my self reading through all the sources on the subject. most of the food bad for my blood type I already hate to eat. LOL Aside from that I still try to find out how can I use it to my advantage and organize my diet according to my blood type. I think it is worth a shot. Remember I told you I feel bad after a week of eating oats? Well I found all sorts of wheat products are bad for my blood type.
I understand some people say blood type and diet are not that much connected and has too few researches behind it, but I think I will believe to my body. I eat those foods already and I feel if I try and eat only suggested foods and see success, great! Mission accomplished/ If not? Nothing lost nothing gained.
I will make sure I let you people know how it works out for me and remember one thing, not much is left till the end and what ever aces you have up your sleeve be ready to throw it down on the table soon!

I had problems posting on the blog for the past few days. I write my blog entry, pres the submit and nothing, returns blank…argh
Actually I am writing this post without even knowing if it will work, well I just hope it will.
Anyways I have a killer week behind me. Besides the gym and regular cardio, we pushed the tempo on the boxing on Saturday and Sunday. Right now I am sitting in my office and writing this post but I really have problems with only sitting. The man I am working out with is a beast and true athlete. I have never saw anyone with such will power and dedication for the sport. Beside the fact he is a true street warrior, the man never had a day competing in a ring, but had more than one on the streets. He’s got scars from an axe on his head and about a million of others on his body and head. If someone would tell me about person like such, I would be thinking hooligan or something like that. But this man is an excellent gym instructor, boxer and kick boxer for the last 25 years, he is with one woman for 17 years and I can see they love each other very much, and also he is chiropractic specialized for spine manipulation. This is not an ordinary man. Just to give you the idea of how dedicated this man is I will tell you a story about him you will find hard to believe.
Some years ago he was diagnosed with appendix inflammation, such condition is only treatable with complete removal of the appendix because of the real life threat of appendix bursting and blood poison and eventual death. Doctor told him the operation was the only way. Slobo (the boxer) asked how long will he not be able to workout, and when they told him two months at least he just got up from the chair and walked to the home. "There is nothing in this world that can make me stop training." - ha was saying, and doctors called him a mad man. Six times over the years his appendix was at the verge or bursting but he just stood there, takes some pain killers and puts some ice on the stomach and tomorrow hi is back in the gym. I am not saying this is an example to follow, and I am sure he will have to remove his appendix some day or die but can you imagine such mind over matter power, to overcome the fear of loosing your life to train another day. I can only dream of such dedication. This man is one of few people I admire in my life and I can only hope I will earn half of his dedication in life.
Anyways here is the workout clip I tried to add last week:

The last week was rough.
You already heard about my diet problem, and I am now almost entirely sure it is the wheat oats I ate all the past week. My weight was not moving at all, just stood there at the same spot. I also experienced energy drop. It was hard for me to get up in the 05:30AM and do the morning workout. I was already afraid I was going to stop progressing, that I have reached some sort of plateau. I have experienced such things before and it takes some time to break out of it.
Today I feel much better. I got up and finished my workout as usual and doing just fine. I know I have lost a week and I will compensate for it this week. Now I understand much more was affecting my condition last week. Major factor is the stress. I am starting my own business venture. I will start my own on-line supplement store and I have so much to do about it. Yesterday I reached one milestone by actually registering my business and getting all the papers required for the business start. I can relax for a moment, but not for long. This week I have to work on my web site and scripts for on-line sales, plus I have to make contact with all the distributors in my country. I am very excited about this and I have such a positive vibrations I just know I will succeed!
Now I am still running on empty here, no supplements are used, but I feel strong and energized. I will double the boxing intensity for this week and lower the calories and hope for the best
That’s it from me for this call, keep your intensity high!

Hey people,
Another week is over and I feel a little bit tired. I was working on my car for the last two days and it just so happened those last two days weather is sub zero LOL
Anyways I am progressing towards my personal goals and I am taking giant steps. Since last week I’ve lost 6.6 lbs and 1.8% body fat. I figure this is decent progress for an ex bodybuilder Anyway there is a catch to it, and I am rather proud of it. I did it all without any supplements at all. Somewhere mid last week I ran out of my amino and now I run free
Last night I did my kick box workout. It lasted about 80min and it was considered a light workout. Tonight I go for more intensity I hope I will survive
That’s it for today kid, keep your head up high and if you need motivation check my progress page

OK, I have some great news: I lost another two pounds I know you are all happy about it, because now you know how serious I am about this and there is all more reason for you to start working harder
Anyways, I start with some serious supplementation this week. So far I was taking only my amino supplement and this week I start with fat burners and less calories in my diet. Practically I walk around with my backpack full of rice and vegetables
I get up 05:30 take my fat burners, do my morning workout for 20 min.
Breakfast at 06:00, usually it is eggs, tuna, or oat meal, milk an a piece of fruit. I also take my whey amino after breakfast.
08:30 is time for my next meal, rice with vegetables.
10:30 another meal, some proteins, usually lean steak or chicken breasts.
13:00 another rice meal and again my amino supplements
15:30 another high protein meal
18:00 some green salad to get my nitro up and running
My gym workout (or another 20 min cardio on my off days) starts at 19:15 an it takes about an hour. Immediately after workout I take whey amino again.
My next meal is somewhere from 20:30 - 21:00 depending on the time when my workout starts. I usually eat eggs, fish or chicken breasts or some other low fat meat.
I never go too low on carbohydrates, hate when something messes with my brain. I eat yolks, I eat peanut butter and honey through out the day, in small doses of course. I eat fruits (3-4 pieces/day), almond nuts, pumpkin seeds and I supplement with omega and multivitamins to keep myself healthy. Also I drink about a gallon of watter dally.
And now I wish to show you my latest workout video, I hope you will enjoy it
