“The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.”
Wearing my weighted vest, I look a little insane, and quite honestly, sometimes I feel it.
When I am working out in my vest, the music I am often inspired to listen to is Ministry. The sounds of battle. I visualize myself going to war.
My real battle being not against FLESH AND BLOOD, but with SPIRIT.
My own.
Here I go again!

OK, I have some great news: I lost another two pounds
I know you are all happy about it, because now you know how serious I am about this and there is all more reason for you to start working harder
Anyways, I start with some serious supplementation this week. So far I was taking only my amino supplement and this week I start with fat burners and less calories in my diet. Practically I walk around with my backpack full of rice and vegetables
I get up 05:30 take my fat burners, do my morning workout for 20 min.
Breakfast at 06:00, usually it is eggs, tuna, or oat meal, milk an a piece of fruit. I also take my whey amino after breakfast.
08:30 is time for my next meal, rice with vegetables.
10:30 another meal, some proteins, usually lean steak or chicken breasts.
13:00 another rice meal and again my amino supplements
15:30 another high protein meal
18:00 some green salad to get my nitro up and running
My gym workout (or another 20 min cardio on my off days) starts at 19:15 an it takes about an hour. Immediately after workout I take whey amino again.
My next meal is somewhere from 20:30 - 21:00 depending on the time when my workout starts. I usually eat eggs, fish or chicken breasts or some other low fat meat.
I never go too low on carbohydrates, hate when something messes with my brain. I eat yolks, I eat peanut butter and honey through out the day, in small doses of course. I eat fruits (3-4 pieces/day), almond nuts, pumpkin seeds and I supplement with omega and multivitamins to keep myself healthy. Also I drink about a gallon of watter dally.
And now I wish to show you my latest workout video, I hope you will enjoy it

Into every life a little rain must pour.
I really don’t even know where to begin. It has been a very stressful past couple of days. One in which I have had two tire blow outs, been stranded on the road with all three kids twice, once sideways in a ditch, standing in a rainstorm. I seriously feel like I faced death today. lol Yes, I can be a little bit dramatic. (Keep in mind that Jeeps are filled with written warnings…RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DEATH MAY OCCUR…DO NOT EXPECT JEEP DOORS OR ROOF TO KEEP YOU IN SAFETY.) It started with Saturday. My husband got a flat tire on my Jeep while I was working. Instead of replacing it, he patched it, which the guys at the tire place seemed to think was a fine idea. Driving the girls to school Monday, the tire blew out, sidewalls and everything. It wasn’t too cold, and it only took about a 40 minute wait before the tire guy came and put the spare on. Since the tire was now GONE, they ordered us a tire replacement, telling us to bring it in the next morning. On my way there today, the SPARE blew. This time on a busy stretch country highway, in the pouring down rain, on a hill with very low visibility. I had my three precious packages with me (kids not protein). Even though I had my hazards on, I could very well imagine us getting rammed from behind. The problem now being that I was scraping metal and had NOWHERE to pull off to. The side of the road being a deep gulley. I thought, "HELL IT"S A JEEP…I’LL JUST PULL US DOWN THERE TO SAFETY." Realizing there was a slight danger of tipping at that odd angle I had to make the kids get out in the pouring rain and lightening while I attempted to get us off the road. Of course it was worse than I thought, since there was NO REAR TIRE to help navigate. I did end up sideways, with just enough room for the girls to come stand and get out of the rain. However, it was scaring the dickens out of me as I could see the thing rolling the rest of the way on top of them. SO we all got out and stood in the rain like a bunch of desperados, praying that lightening wouldn’t hit us. A nice, older lady stopped and took us to town soon enough. We headed to my library to get warm and make a few calls. Long story longer, everything you can imagine went wrong, including a 3 hour wait to get my Jeep towed and back, (too many details to share), and a case of STOLEN IDENTITY. Went to pay with the debit/credit card…the amount coming to over $600 for what amounted to 3 road side service calls in three days, one tow, one (faulty) patch, and a new rear tire. THE CARD WAS DENIED. Not for insufficient funds, but because someone stole our number and had been attempting to use it 7 times! The bank had put a halt on the card. Another hour long wait, sitting in a filthy dank service station. The bank finally cleared us and I got the heck out of there! Missed my workout. Came home and had 7 SCOOPS OF BANANA WHEY to make myself feel better. lol MENTAL STRESS TAKES FAR MORE OUT OF YOU THAN PHYSICAL STRESS!!!!! Took a 2 hour nap, woke up, ate 9 EGGS!!!! Holy heck, must have needed some iron! Now my boss had said earlier with the roads being icy that I didn’t have to come in to night unless I wanted to. Remember, I am driving around with NO HEAT. That’s ok. I’ve decided I AM ROCKY BALBOA training in Siberia.
I am not one to call out of work. Actually, I never have before in my life. But my boss opened that doorway and I walked through it. Decided I would rather have a WORK-OUT to work off some of today’s STRESS! SO glad I did! Only 15 minutes on the stairmill, but I wore my vest and got a good sweat. Worked my tris..just didn’t feel like writing things down tonight. Trained INTUITIVELY the way I LIKE IT. Ahhhhhhh….I feel so much better now. Made this video clip over a month ago. I can definitely see a difference in my body between then and now. Never realized just how THICK I was. lol That’s all right. Many shapes and sizes makes for a WELL ROUNDED WORLD. PS….I USED NINJA BILL’S M&F PIC for inspiration today! Get your minds out of the gutter now. It got my heart rate up all right…..but that’s because I was walking stairs. Have a great night…and if you made it to the bottom of this page,…well then, God bless ya!

Shoulder work at home, I like to do these things when I feel my body getting tired. It gets the blood moving, and the energy for the next few hours thru the roof! Completing all movements without rest, keeps the heart rate up. Its this high rep movements that have shown more success this week for me.
Press is 37LBS, the Remainder of the routine is 17lbs.

This video explains a bit about why I workout barefooted and why I use the bands. Over the past several weeks I have had a bunch of great advice given to me about workouts and I appreciate all of it. What I have decided to do is follow Coach Mike’s training regimen to the best of my ability and as long as I see tangible results I see no need to change. Could I be doing better following another workout? Maybe I would. What I have seen is a rock solid 2 pound plus drop in weight every week except last week since the beginning of December. This is solid fat loss, not water and not muscle. Results are proving Coach Mike and his prescribed workout to be on the money.
While I endeavor to win the Bodybuilding.com 2008 Transformation contest I know where I am and what I need to do to become healthy. That is my goal, be healthy. This will take me 1.5 to 2 years. When I get to that point I will decide my next challenge. Bicycle racing, power-lifting, or any number of other physical challenges that keep me on my toes will keep me focused on my new found fitness, a fitness that begins here.
Got popcorn???
Tuesday, January 29th, 2008
This is my best video to date. Well in my opinion. Some of you may prefer the workout partner verbal abuse from the last one. Grab your no butter and no salt popcorn and enjoy. Oh you better get the largest size tub and the biggest bottle of spring water (that actually comes from the tap.) This is longer than my usual post.

Those three words pretty much describe my last week. I’m sick, my strength is down, I’m sick, and I just want to sleep all day. I went to the gym tonight, despite being sick, so I could get my workout video in. We ended up shooting the leg press superhellset, and I FAILED. Yes, you heard it. My range of motion was poor, my strength was down, and overall it just sucked.
The way it is supposed to go is 15 reps, rest 5 seconds, 14 reps, rest 5 seconds, and repeat on down to 1 rep. You’ll have to watch the vid to see what happened. Now fancy music or editing this time around guys, I’m barely with it enough to even upload it.
