Putting Down The Kryptonite.

Maddi

Well it’s been one hell of a day.  I let stress and fear get to me.  I binged.  I am not proud, but I am human.  I would still be human if I had not binged.  Just a stronger less vulnerable one.

I am working on this thing daily.  Honestly, I can say, I am not there yet.  I believe I can find what it takes in me to be a competitor someday.  This contest has been the warming up for me, the springing forth into action, and dusting off the cobwebs of my psyche.

So dusting off those cobwebs what did I find?  I found this.  A woman with both strengths and weaknesses.  A woman who can kick ass.  And a woman who can crawl into a corner and cry.

Even heroes have weaknesses.  For Superman it was kryptonite.  And Jesus cried tears of blood at Gethsemene.  Yet ultimately he did finish what he came to finish.  And so shall I.

Going for a workout now.

Maddi, you are definately my hero. You’re a beautiful, strong woman, and yes…you are human. You always keep it real and for that my friend, I admire you for it.

Been following every day. I am totally impressed with your amazing tenacity and your awesome pictures! Also, thanks for sharing about the hard parts and the places where you fall down. So many people don’t reveal this stuff, and you just wonder if they never fall down! Of course we all do, most of us are just not brave/honest/generous enough to share those parts too. Thanks for being real about how challenging your transformation has been, and showing what an amazing job can be done in spite of, or maybe because of, the challenges that have shown themselves along the way!

My ladies…thank you for the tremendous support. It is you, and all the others like you here on bodyspace that give me courage to be me. XOXOXOXO.

    Maddi,
You beat this thing far more than you fall to it. Your fight against food issues is a marvel to behold and you should be very proud of your achievement. One slip is tough I know…but it is so rare today compared to where you once had been. Inspiration to all you are.
