Blog Entry

Daretosoar

This weekend was very uneventful.  I was sick and in bed the entire time.  Good news is that I feel great today.  I did get a few minutes to put together this weeks video-Ab inspiritation.  A few of the pics didnt turn out as clear as I would like but you can still get a good idea from them.

Just keep at it Steph, your muscles look like they are in great shape!

Sorry to hear you had a bad week, diet gets us sometimes, but you just keep at it! ;)

I am glad you are feeling good today, but I bet those abs are a tad bit sore.

As always I love your workout vids. They get better each time you post and your exercise routines show great form. I am always amazed at your strength.

How much did that bar weigh? The bar you had in a pressed position as you did the leg obliques.

  3. Daretosoar Says:

thanks guys. Jumbo the floor sweeps were done with 135 pounds. I dont have it down perfect yet but it gets better all the time. The roll outs are by far the one I feel the most.

Great video as always Steph…you are MY inspiration!

Floor sweeps? That’s at around 2:40 on the video. Incedible. I thought at first the bar was on the floor behind your head and then did a double take, "She’s HOLDING it!" Zoinks! :)

They’d be sweeping up the floor with me if I tried that one. Fantastic.

What video editing tools do you use?

Hey, I was listening to No Bull Radio and Dave Palumbo recommended long, slow distance rather than intense cardio for best fat burning. He offered 120 beats per minute as the top bpm rate otherwise he says you’re not burning fat, but glucose.

Palumbo all but finished his medical degree. He went to F&M in Lancaster (where I used to live) which is a "big brain" school.

Well, we have a snow day today, so I’ve been resting my brain, but I’m heading to the local Gold’s today for chest and triceps.

Say, you mentioned not feeling well? I was out of the gym for a week and so enthused to feel better finally that didn’t I go and pull something in my middle back in my overenthusiasm at returning to the gym! D’OH!

Be careful! And, yes, thank you, Stephanie, for serving as inspiration! Kudos!

Thanks Curt. For cardio- I do a mixture. I do a lot of long steadies with a few HIIT thrown in a few times a week. I will heed the warning about be careful not to get injured since I am back at it again. Thanks for caring. Also I use Windows movie maker. I finally figured out how to use it. Only took me four or five weeks. lOL
