The scale is moving down.
Week 2 was another successful week. My chart looks wonderful on my bodyspace. I love seeing the line move in a downward slope. So much motivation is taken from that. In my pictures I am seeing a little progress. I bet by week four we will see quite a bit. The biggest change I feel right now is how my muscles feel. They are firming and getting harder.
I know I wont have small arms. Once I shred some of the bodyfat, they will be ripped. Although I would like for them to be small and feminine, I know they wont be and I would rather have muscle showing than the jiggling of flab and the pelican beak (official body part if you ask my kids) hanging down from my tricep. I will also know that I will have the strength to do anything I want. That will be a fabulous feeling and will definitely override an issues I may have with sporting a pair of lady guns.
I can not tell you how much hope and anticipation that feel. I think when you are so overweight and just starting to figure out this lifestyle, its overwhelming and can give you a fear of failure. I can honestly say I feel good about everything so far. I am making it happen.
So let me tell you about my success this far.
Starting weight: 227.4
2nd week weight: 220.2
Lost 7.2 lbs total
Starting Body fat: 51.5%
2nd week body fat: 46.3%

Those scale numbers do not come close to telling the whole story. The change in body is really coming along.

The numbers are great Steph and I can absolutely see a difference in the pics. By the time you come to Ohio you won’t want to wear that little bikini because you’ll look so good you won’t want to cover anything up!! LOL!! …..OOOOOO LA LA!!!!!!

G’day there Steph! You sure are doing so well with your program - it is paying off handsomely. Pelican beak? is that another name for ‘bingo wings’???? Whichever way, I’m sure with your determination and fiercely burning desire those arms are gonna be something to see!

Wow! Nice improvements there Steph!
I wish I could say I see the same improvement in my pics, but I don’t. Oh well, just means I have to work harder.

thanks guys. The encouragement you are providing is being sucked up and turned into motivation for this next week by the inner c.w. Now that I take a better look and put duct tape on the inner critic, there are big changes happening and my butt does look good in those shorts (thanks Maddi). the difference in two weeks has me very excited to see what will happen in 6, 8, and 13. The real me will be shining through before I know it. this is so cool. *floating on cloud 9*

I’ve been following the transformation contest blogs to help motivate my own transformation right now–I check in every day! Just have to tell you, amazing progress–easy to see a huge difference. I’m delighted to be where I am–it’s taken really hard work. But in some ways I miss those days where hard work pays off in huge weekly changes like yours, instead of the miniscule ones I’m seeing as I get really close to my goal!
Keep up the amazing work. Your great attitude is inspiring and contagious. it’s obvious that you WILL reach your goal, it’s just a matter of time!

Stephanie, GREAT blog entry. I like the running track of weight loss, percent bodyfat loss, and of course the pics over time will show an amazing time lapse photography! Kudos!

Wow, massive difference! Arms are tighter and smaller, tummy is flatter, and your rear is shapelier. Good work! Keep it up.
