My jaw hit the floor when I saw this!!

bodebldr2000

I came across a picture of myself from January 06. When i compare it to a pic of me today I could not believe the change i have made in my body! I knew I had made progress but I am always really hard on myself and never really noticed how BIG of a change I have made!

I have a video showing my progress. it is on the left hand side, there are 2 videos one on top of the other so watch the bottom one. go here to see it http://www.myspace.com/eubiedoo

I have had some really amazing results and cant even begin to thank those that helped me along the way. I still have a ways to go to reach my goal of 4% bodyfat but I know I will get there soon enough. Thanks to Syntrax for their Matrix 5.0 and Nectar, Scivation for their Xtend, Sesamin, Creaform and Gluteaform. Anabolic Xtreme for their MassFX / Hyperdrol stack…these companies make some killer supplements and they have helped me get to where I am today.

Stay tuned, there is more to come!! I will post tonights workout a bit later, on my way to the gym now… kinda "motivated" right now more than usual! lol

BenWow…I never look this bad in the mirror. hah, but whatever. That’s why I’m here. I’m still very fat. I wish I had shirtless pics of when I was 307lbs somewhere, but I don’t.

Anyway, pics taken at approx. 8pm Jan 1st. at a severly bloated weight of 224.4lbs. Last night got the best of me. ;)

Body shape looks really weird due to very big genetic lats, and fat on top of them. Anyway enough chit chat.

Before Pics *warning, may induce nausea*

VanessaWell, the only thing more delightful than the rare opportunity to post fatass off season pics is the singular pleasure of having to take them twice.  My genius boyfriend was so busy picking on me that it seems they didn’t take the first time.  Note the overwhelming joy facially expressed.

RaquelleI think I’m the last one to post my before pics. But here they are.  I posed without flexing to show just how loose I really am. I get a lot of compliments when people see pictures of me flexing and tell me I’m in good shape already and look nowhere near 25% body fat. It’s all in the thighs, but not for long. My goal is to look tight even when I’m not flexing.

As you can see, I am far from my goal of 15% body fat, but I will get there.

…BTW, Happy New Year Everyone!

PhilipHere are my before pics.  1st time in many years I posed without a shirt on.  I cannot believe the pictures.  Many people have made the comment to me…”you’re not fat”.  My response has always been “it’s all in my belly and love-handles”, now they can see how much loose clothing actually hides.

It is unbelievable to think how a person can have so many things happen in their life and before they know it their body is gone and some even look like me…9 months freaking pregnant!  Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!  But you know what?  The only thing I can do now is make the change, transform my body and when I have those awesome ‘after’ photo’s, is show others what and how it can be done.

My Before Transformation Contest Photos

Sunday, December 31st, 2006
GeorgeBelow are my Before Transformation Contest Photos.  Out of the 8 contestants, I’m probably the one that has his “work cut-out for me.”  They are not the best posing pictures, but I’m not a Professional BodyBuilder, I’m just trying to win this Transfomation Contest!

Current Stats (as of today):

Measured on Homedics Tri-Fitness Plus Healthstation

Weight:                                   244.6 lbs
BodyFat %:                              23.7%
Body Water %:                         55.7%
Muscle Mass%:                         36.5%
Basal Metabolic Rate:                 2197 calories

(ALL QUOTED FROM INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR HOMEDICS TRI-FITNESS PLUS HEALTHSTATION)
Body Water %:  The more lean muscle you gain as you exercise and get in shape, the lower your body fat & the higher your body water will be.

Muscle Mass:  According to the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), lean muscle mass may decrease by nearly 50% between the ages of 20 and 90.  If you don’t do anything to replace that loss, you’re losing muscle and increasing fat.  It is also important to know your muscle mass % during weight reduction.  At rest, the body burns approximately 50 additional calories for each pound of muscle gained.  The normal muscle mass for men is greater than 40%.  For women, normal muscle mass is greater than 34%.

Basal Metabolic Rate:  Your BMR is the energy (measured in calories) expended by the body, at rest, to maintain normal body functions.  This continual work makes up about 60-70% of the calories the body uses, and includes the beating of your heart, respiration, and the maintenance of body temperature.  Your BMR is influenced by a number of factors, including age, weight, height, gender, dieting, and exercise habits.

If you know how many calories your body needs to function, you can calculate exercise and calorie consumption into your diet and weight loss program to ensure that you are eating & exercising at your proper level.  You  can boost your BMR by building muscle & redeucing body fat.  This increases the body’s ability to burn more calories while the body is at rest.  When you raise your BMR, your body is less likely to store fat.  The amount of increase in BMR varies from person to person, but even a modest increase in activity should cancel out the body’s tendency to decrease BMR when you cut calories in your diet.
