No training, No cardio just rest and relaxation. It’s been an awesome 12 weeks and loved every minute of it. I cant complain about any part of all this. Everyone made some killer transformations and should be very proud of themselves. Tonight is a wonderful night… the last night of my damn diet! lol

I plan to take a week or two off then hit a clean slow bulk and enjoy the new foods I get to have. Cant wait to have my Sushi Saturday night! wow, hope I can hold off until tomorrow!

I will be posting my pics fairly early in the morning so I can begin my feasting! Good luck to everyone!

3/28-3/29/07 - No Workouts, Nutrition, and Supplements

My schedule is so hectic right now with work (End of our Fiscal Year-selling as much product as possible to attain that quarterly bonus), family, and other activities, that I’m either to wiped out or the gym is closed by the time I’m able to go!!  I did sell enough to get my quarterly bonus and I will end up being the #1 Residential Sales Rep (Dollars sold) for the fiscal year that ends tomorrow!!!!!

My Nutrition and Supplements for the last 2 days has been good.  I’ve stuck to my diet and taken all of my supplements!

I will be posting my summary of MY Experience competing in this contest in the next day or so.  I will also be posting my after pictures.

Make sure you go to the thread below and give your opinion on who you think should win this Transformation Contest!

I just want to take a moment to express my appreciation for the people, companies and products that have contributed to this contest and journey, either to me personally or to the group as a whole.  This will be a long but deserving list!

1.  Deserusan.  He’s positively the best boyfriend and suppost system I could ask for.  Dan will be starting his own competition prep in the not so distant future and I hope that I can prove as valuable to him as he has been to me.  I know he has offered his help to a few competitors, and he also encouraged more supplement companies to come on board and sponsor the prizes.  Dan recently became part of Gaspari’s crew and I think it is a great step for a wonderful man and a quality company.

2.  Twin Peak.  This guy is great at designing diet plans.  I can’t wait until his Peak Physiques site is up, and I recommend his services to anyone interested in having their nutrition altered by a true professional.  Make sure to check out his articles on carb cycling as well.

3.  ThermoLife.  Through most of this contest, I was a forum representative for this company.  They make great products that work and the inclusion of Dicana, E-bol, Stizm and Zappetite in my transformation definitely played a part.  Since I am no longer affiliated with the TL, there is no bias when I say that I definitely recommend these products.

4.  Designer Supplements/Designer Nutrition.  I also participated in a transformation contest that DS sponsored on the forum.  I included Sustain powder throughout my cut and I think it’s a great formula with an outstanding flavor.  I can’t wait to try the new Vanilla Almond Sustain bars when I’m done cutting.  I also used Melting Point while bulking.  I think that Designer has a solid line and great employees/reps.

5.  Prolab.  Although I tried to use whole foods as much as possible in my cut, I was allowed two, and later one meal per day with protein powder, many of which came from this line.  The Cinnamon Protein Component is one of the best powders I’ve ever tried, in an excellent blend.  Their new sleep aid, REM, definitely helped me out at night when I couldn’t rest either from stress or stimulants.  Other products I used were Isolate in all flavors and Pure Whey in Peanut Butter, and I always use Lean Mass off season since they are the best MRP on the market.  I can’t wait to use NitroFire after the cut - it’s the first Grape flavor I haven’t hated!

6.  ALRI.  They are one of the sponsors, and I was able to sample Lean Dreams and Hyperdrive recently, both of which are great.  They also have put out a book called Building the Perfect Beast Naturally which is a great read for anyone interested in improving his or her physique.  Other ALRI products that have peaked my interest include Jungle Warfare and Primed Ultra.  Additionally, Kathy (Fitnfirm) has the best sig on the forum.

7.  Controlled Labs.  My creatine during this contest was Green Mag - it tastes incredible, the price is right and is a great formula.  CL also is a sponsor of the contest and Pu12en12g is a good guy.

8.  Bodybuilding.com/Higher Power/Rich Barnet.  The Deluca’s rock for giving us all this opportunity to begin with.  What a great and encouraging idea it was!  I really do appreciate the forum, Bodyspace and Bodyblogs, as well as the store which has a wonderful selection at good prices and the best shipping of any supplement site.  We were all provided store credit during the contest to aid in our transformations, and giving Higher Power products as prizes is just icing on the cake.  Special thanks to my favorite developer for dealing with all of the behind the scenes stuff and answering our questions.

9.  Primaforce/Scivation.  Yet another sponsor; I used Xtend for a large part of this journey and have used Substance in the past.  This company has some really excellent flavoring systems - try the Lemon Xtend and Vanilla and Chocolate Substance.

10. MAN Sports.  These guys have some of the best and most informative reps on the forum.  I logged Body Octane during the contest and absolutely loved it.  I had barely any training fatigue while cutting, and it’s delicious!

11. ISS Research.  I used Micellar Matrix in Banana over the last few weeks and it is great.  I miss having real bananas in my diet and they will be in my carb up, but in the meantime this protein blend was a real treat.

12. Avant Labs.  I logged Lipoderm on my fat ass on another forum during this contest.  It made this skeptic of transdermals a believer!

13. Giant/Ergopharm.  I have been taking Pro Carnosine and I-Pro and think this is another badass brand.

13. All of you!!  Thanks for reading along and supporting our goals!  The bb’ing community is a wonderful, positive and inclusive one, and this should never be overlooked.

Last day for training!

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

bodebldr2000

I did my last workout and cardio session tonight. My diet and routine have really paid off with burning the fat off my frame. I am very pleased with my results and will continue to train and diet long after this wonderful contest is over. It has been a wonderful 12 weeks and i wouldnt trade 1 minute of it! I got to meet a few really cool people and have spoken to a few of them online and on the phone, each contestant is awesome in their own way and brought a really unique light to this transformation contest! Congrats to everyone!

Tonights workout consisted of a few sets of calf raises and 20min of cardio on the stair master. No more workouts or cardio for a long time! lol I plan to take a week or two off and enjoy some good food! Sushi is the first victom on my list!

I will post my after pics saturday morning fairly early, reason being i want to get started on my partying and celebration! Not celebrating my hopeful victory but celebrating the end of 12 weeks of hard dieting.

see ya saturday!

100’s

Monday, March 26th, 2007

bodebldr2000

Today was a totally different workout than I normally do. As part of my diet and training program I decided to do a lighter weight for a very high amount of reps. I have heard several people doing this and they say it works well for them so I gave it a try and loved it.

Heres the workout:

CHEST / SHOULDERS / TRICEPS

CHEST
Incline DB press
2 sets of 15 reps with 65lbs
2 sets of 15 reps with 55lbs
2 sets of 20 reps with 50lbs

Pushups
1 set until failure (30 pushups)

SHOULDERS
Seated DB press
3 sets of 15 reps with 35lbs
3 sets of 15 reps with 30lbs
1 set of 10 reps with 30lbs

DB side raise
6 sets of 15 reps with 15lbs
1 set of 10 reps with 15lbs

TRICEPS
Press downs with rope
5 sets of 20 reps with 80lbs

CARDIO
20 min on the stair climber

ABS
2 sets of 30 reps on crunches, side raises and leg raises…abs are coming in VERY nicely.

It wasnt a "hard" workout but the high reps made my muscles feel really good and it was a nice change from doing very heavy weight all the time.
