Ive stated on my profile that i weigh 159lbs, i got it wrong, i missinterpreted 11stone 1 as 159lbs instead of 155lbs. God knows how i managed to get 159lbs as a result but im gutted. Sure i still weigh 11 stone 1 but i feel like i’m 4 pounds further away from my target weight now and thats another 3 weeks work at the very least. Cant believe such a simple mistake has annoyed me so much.

I love Weight training but for all its ups and downs it sometimes doesnt seem worth it. Sometimes you feel great, others you feel like you havent progressed, no matter what the scales show i find it hard sometimes to shake off the feeling that ive wasted a lot of time. To be honest i have probably wasted half of my time since starting 7 months ago, i started out ok, piling the weight on and flying up the weights but then for some stupid reason i decided to change a winning formula and no matter how hard i try i cant get back into the groove i started in.
Its my own fault in truth though, i only recently started keeping a training log and so i cant remember exactly what exercises i was doing, how much i was lifting and what i was eating. Theres just too much stuff to think about and it can be overwhelming. Anyone that thinks that weight lifting is an easy ride is wrong. Physically i find it easy, lifting the wieghts isnt what holds me down, its everything else. Things like the strict diet, getting enough sleep, not overtraining, eating the right foods at the right times, its all easy to slip up on and i dont even realise when i do.
I am getting stricter on myself though because i’d do anything to achieve my goals, recently i gave up alcohol and i’m glad i did to be honest because ive realised ive had better nights out without it. Ive got a feeling that things are gonna get much harder for me though soon, i start university on monday which will leave me with little time and money. Also eating proper meals at certain times will become more difficult. (i’m strict with eating times, i have meals at 9:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 and if possible 22:00) I know you only need to consume protein every 3 hours but i go for 2. God knows how i’m going to afford to keep up my supplements once i start uni too, i’ll have no money. I spend £30 on supplements every 10 days at the moment. Can anyone reccommend any successfull whey supplements?
Sorry my Blog turned into a rant lol if youve managed to read this far down and youre still awake then i owe you a pint!
