HIIT Cardio + Calisthenics
While watching Breaking Bad season 1, I’m currently doing 6 sets of :
- 1:30 minutes of skip roping fast
- Wait until heart rate is back to ~100 bpm
- 20 pushups
- 20 triceps dips
- Wait until heart rate is back to ~100 bpm
My body’s adapting fast: my heart rate is dropping back to normal much faster than 2 weeks ago after the end of an interval.

Breaking Bad is my current favorite show. I DVR all the episodes. When you jump rope, try doing it to fast beat music. I like the Ramones, B52’s. Work yourself up to doing long sessions of jumping - at least 30 minutes without stopping. Stay on your toes - it works the calves great too.

Thanks for the tips, will definitely try that. I’m not in shape enough to jump rope for 30 minutes non stop, but I’m lengthening my rounds by 15 seconds per week. I should eventually get there
