I have had a pretty good week with working out. I really love getting in the gym early in the morning and working out hard and doing intense cardio. It helps so much with my focus mentally and physically.
I do however, struggle more with my diet than I’d like too. Its never bad enough to just kill my progress but it certainly does slow it down. I’ll stay at it. I’ve never been a quiter and don’t plan to quit today.
Had a great cardio workout today did 45 minutes of interval training and trained abs

Well, last Thursday I went to the Dr. with a cough. I usually don’t go until I am dying but I decided that since I was going overseas on a mission trip I probably should go ahead and go. He put me on a Z-Pack and 5 days later I have pneumonia. So needless to say I haven’t seen a gym in 6 days. I am hoping to fee well enough tomorrow to get in there for a short and easy workout.
Been trying to stay on the diet - I really struggle with myeating - My workouts are going good.

I have been dieting most of my life off and on. About a year ago, I’d had enough. I was to tired to enjoy my time with my family. To run or play with my kids was a dreaded chore and I wanted it to be the highlight of my days.
I am a stress eater, a happy eater, a sad eater - I love food. But my love for lifting has become more and more prevalent in my life. I can’t wait until the next work out.
So I plan on keeping a journal here of the process, both the good and the bad. Who knows if anyone will read it? But it doesn’t matter that much to me. My goal is to stay focused on the prize and hopefully this will help me keep my focus.
