So do you ever wake up and feel like Bill Murry in Groundhogs Day (or “Bill F’ing Murry” for you Zombieland fans) when it comes to a fresh start?? That’s the way I have felt over the past two months. I have really let myself go for various reasons and all the hard work and dedication I had put into improving myself has gone out with the trash. So I wake up every day thinking today will be a fresh start to getting back into a solid workout routine and for reasons a-z it just doesn’t happen. Well today I am again trying to get out of this self imposed funk I’m in. I had a great workout today and hope that it is the foundation for rebuilding what I have torn down. I have this goal of hitting 200lbs and got to 213 and after the past two months of doing almost nothing have gotten back up to 225, very frustrating and disappointing, but hopefully is the motivation I need.
I have also found that logging into this site prior to heading to the gym is a huge motivation. There are so many dedicated people and inspiring stories that I’m not sure how anyone can not feel the urge to hit some weights or do some hard core cardio!!

So I know the most important part of achieving a great body is to eat clean, workout, etc, etc…..but does anyone have any opionions on using fat burners to jump start your metabolism?? I know they are not the best thing for your liver but does a hardcore fat burner for a cycle help or truly hurt you??

Work has been crazy busy lately so I am taking a week off and headed for some sun and relaxation in Cancun this week. I’m hoping to leave work and school at home and just enjoy a week of doing nothing. I need to get away, clear my mind and reenergize. When I get back its back to the gym and finish the summer up strong.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy 4th of July! Take time to remember and thank those who serve to protect us and who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in order for us to have our freedoms, for without them this day would have little meaning. May God bless them and keep them safe!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I have started a new BodyGroup “Thin Blue Line Group” open to anyone in law enforcement, the military, fire or medical personnel and anyone else that supports any of these professions. My hope is to create a place on BodySpace were we can encourage and motivate each other as we move toward our fitness goals as well as a networking site. Hope to see some of you soon!
