I wasn’t too keen on it as I was behind schedule due to a SAR call. Requestor was looking for a cadaver dog. We don’t have any on the team.
Gym is normally empty when I workout. Tonight, there was a guy there with his son. Kid was about 14-15 and just played on equipment that no one was using. Guy was doing some sort of martial arts/yoga stretching something or other between sets.
Followed routine with DB curls back in my apartment and a protein shake after that.

Well this is the first entry of what I hope to be a long and fruitful blog about my lifting progress.
So far though, it’s not going as well as I planned. I lifted Tuesday and got a good workout done. Was going to lift again tonight when I got a page on my SAR (Search and Rescue) pager. I am in the rotation for what is called ITC and SARDOC. Which means all calls for help come through me first for initial validation and then I send out notices to the rest of the team.
Was a total buzz kill. That put me out of my window for going and lifting as when I am done, it will be pretty late. Maybe I will go anyway. I hope I am not procrastinating. I should go. Well I have to take my SAR pager with me anyway. Hopefully no one calls. Did that sound bad?
