So, this month while I give my kidneys a rest from the onslaught of supps that I throw at them, I decided to try a new pre-workout routine. Goes a little something like this: take out Bible, Read short passage about strength (I made a list of all the passages that contain that word using biblesearch.com) before leaving for the gym. Upon arrival, short prayer.
Something like this: Thank you for the blessing of health and strength that you have given me, please give me the strength, power, will, and concentration to make my workout today as strong as possible. Keep my body safe and healthy, Amen. Short and sweet.
Interestingly enough, this has added 45 lbs to my weighted pullups, 15 lbs per hand to incline DB press, 10 lbs to skullcrushers, overall asthetics to my look, and healing of my bum knee (i can do squats again!) Worth a shot? You be the judge!
