The best way to monitor your body is by going to see your physician. . A few years ago, I was at Wal-Mart just shopping and I saw the blood pressure machine, so I check my blood pressure, and it was over the range. So I didn’t know what’s going on with that. Well later on I started having bad headaches.
So I knew it was my blood pressure, because I felt pressure in my head. Then I slowed down on my workout a little bit, because I felt dizzy. One day at the gym I was doing some squats, 4 sets of 15, and on my 3rd set of 15, I got dizzy. Then my 4th set of 15 it felt like I was about to pass out.
Then I made an appointment with my physician, and he told me I have hypertension and need to be on blood pressure pills and be on a low sodium diet. When he told me that I knew it will be hard. So I did it and it was very difficult , because I like saucey patties, and well seasoned foods.
Now I don’t have high blood pressure problems, Thank good for discipline myself and continue to exercise.Sometimes I cheat by eating high sodium foods, but I do keep a limit.
It’s good to monitor yourself just by checking your blood pressure on the daily basis, go for a checkup about every 6 months, exercise daily and eat healthy foods.
