Monday - 8.45AM - workout complete

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Already had a great HIIT workout this morning and now I am ready to get back to my clients. 10 reps of HIIT on the elliptical; levels 10-13. Good sweat, great RPM (legs are fully recovered for once); great way to spark the metabolism early on.

Friday got in some shoulders and more abs; no cheating on Friday! So great to be totally focused on the goal. I also weighed in at 163 on Saturday morning, which is amazing matches my goal. Now, I am looking forward to 160 and then 157lbs. Saturday’s workout was mediocore, I did some new exercises but wasn’t that into. I’ll make up for it on Thursday. Only 4 training days this week, before heading on vacation for fourth of July. 4 days & 8 training sessions.

Ten clients today; big day. Got here at 5.55am and won’t leave till after 9pm. The rest of the week is easy though, so looking forward to taking it easy after today’s last session. Got to be HARD on em today, my clients won’t see me for a week; and probably (like I will) be cheating on their diets. I’m bringing my running shoes to the beach and hopefully getting a few good runs in.

Back workout today, plus some cardio. Get psyched.

Good Monday to you all!

Keep that chest high, and heels down,

MP

6-27-08; Lazy Friday

Friday, June 27th, 2008

Not much to do today; hitting a little rear & medial shoulders after my last client. Some abs as well. And a HIIT session depending on my legs.

Been noticing alot of quad soreness lately. I think next week will be good with some time off.

Also, thinking about adding in some "bigger moves" into my workout; power cleans, jump shrugs- stuff I normally don’t do. Need to life my mantra of changing things up. Speaking of changing things up; 6r, 12r my favorite training routine = September. July /August I need to figure some rep scheme out, if you got any suggestions please post.

Also starting the 7th, I am going to start using my fitday log again. I think I need to watch some of my calories.

Happy Training Today-

BoL - MP

End of June 2008

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

I’ve been focusing more on doing HIIT and not any kind of LISS; however, I’ve been adding 2 minute intervals into nearly all my training sessions, plus 10 minutes cardio before & after. I just don’t have the mental attitude to run 4 or 5 miles anymore. I think I am going to do one this weekend. We’ll see what comes up.

My weight was down to 166 lbs, & I’ll be stepping on the scale Saturday morning. It’s the eating/drinking; I am no longer having beers during the week with tha guys. My food as been all clean; the only time I eat a little dirty is after my workouts. Just drinking water & tea; on cup of juice in the morning, which I am thinking of cutting out entirely. Having a lot more whey shakes through-out the day.

When I get back from July 4th, I’ll go back to Meltdown+E; I took one month off from it; gave my body the rest it needed from stimulants. Now it’ll be ready for the stuff again.

Thinking about doing a 8 mile race in September; just a new challenge you know?

HIIT has been almost exclusively on the ellipitcal; did it once on the bike this week just to change it up. I still haven’t gone for a run outside, although I have to talk myself into it soon. I don’t know why I just can’t do it.

Today, I’ll be doing some traps, & bi’s- yesterday, hit the big triple digits on Dumbbell Bench Press; VERY AWESOME. 100 lb DBs for 6 reps. Greatest Accomplishment for me so far!
