Friday, March 23rd, 2007I am going to start cutting here in a couple days. My diet will consist of moderate to low carbs(between 50-150 grams), high protein of course(between 350-450 grams) and moderate fat(less than 100 grams). It has been about 9 months since I have been in shape so I am kind of looking forward to all of the work that goes along with cutting. I am going to be do 30-45 minutes of cardio in the morning which i am not looking forward to and depending on my progress I might add in another 20-30 minutes after I work out. I am also going to still train heavy and hard, but I will increase my reps a little bit for most movements. This is how my daily schedule will look:
6:00 am - 35 grams of whey followed by 45 mins. ofcardio.
7:30 am - 10 eggwhites with 2 whole eggs
10:00 am - 2 cans of reduced sodium tuna with 7000 mg of flax oil
12:30 pm - 10 oz. 93% lean ground beef w/ a half serving of brown rice
3:30 pm(pre-workout) - 10 oz. chicken breast, 1 serving of brown rice and 10 g flax oil
6:00 pm(post-wo) - 3 servings of whey, 2 bananas and 8 g fish oil
7:30 pm - 10 oz. flank steak
10:00 pm - 2-3 servings of Evopro before bed at 10:30.
This is of course a sample of an average day, weekends will change a little bit and non lifting day will be even lower in carbs. I will also cheat 1-2 times a week since I am not planning on doing a show yet so I might as well keep my sanity. It is a pretty basic diet but it works. I am also going to start taking a couple pics every two weeks and posting them, I will start doing that either this sat. or next. If anybody has any questions or suggestions feel free to write.
