My 3rd Yr. at Hogwarts!

As I promised my eldest boy I am making my way through the wonderful world of J.K. Rowling and the saga of her little Wizard Hero Harry Potter. I just completed the 3rd book Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Yr 3). I have very much enjoyed the challenge of reading these books in order to share and inspire my sons reading habits far more than I would have imagined.

This weekend will be all about the boys and I, well at least when their not in their room battling on distant worlds via the X-Box or visiting their little Square Friend in Bikini Bottom via Nickelodeon.

I really don’t have much more to share tonight as I am very tired from training visiting Grandma and Grandpa etc. But on behalf of my son I highly reccomend the Harry Potter series of books.

And my wish for any one that reads this is that you take some time out of your weekend and spend with your little ones. The memories you create with your children will last a lifetime.

I have a niece and four nephews but no children of my own, however I do spend a considerable amount of time with little ones while working as an elementary school art teacher.

I’ve been teaching five years (November 2007) and many of my former students are now at the high school. I run into them at the mall and on the street. It’s amazing to see how they change.

Oh, I almost forgot to write what I initially thought of when I read your blog title:

The last Potter film will actually be two films. The last book in the series was reported to have too much content that couldn’t be simply ignored or left out of the film and so they decided to create to Potter movies to cover the last of the story, so you’ll be able to enjoy 8 potter adventures at the theater while there are only 7 books.

Glad to hear you are still enjoying the books, they only get better. Yes, you are right, memories to last a lifetime, those moments are priceless.
