PT 2009 Baltimore

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

Hello Everyone!

First off, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! I haven’t been on because I was working the Expo this past weekend at the PT 2009 Baltimore (Physical Therapy) for The Burn Machine (http://www.theburnmachine.com). It was the Annual Conference of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). And I couldn’t connect to the Internet at the Hotel that I was staying at.

The Expo was a HUGE success because The Burn Machine is trying to get endorsed by the APTA and many of the APTA Staff, Board of Director, Past President, World Committee President and Physical Therapist loved the units! Having the support of the APTA would be amazing!

See back at the 2008 Olympia Expo I met The Burn Machine and when I saw someone using the “Speed Bag” I was amazed because it basically replaces the Hand Bike that all Rehabs use. To make a long story short I knew that it had Great Potential in PT/OT Market so I talked to the owner and told him what I thought. A few days later we started talking, and then I helped them get into the Physical Therapy market, used their units at the 1st Wheelchair Bodybuilding Camp in History at the Shriners Hospital in Chicago, filmed a new demonstration DVD & Fitness DVD and now working the booth at the Expo. That’s how it happened in a nutshell.

When you are in the wheelchair we have limited choices of doing cardio – pushing ourselves in the wheelchair, hand bike, swimming and not to many other exercises. The Speed Bag is an AWESOME cardio workout for wheelchair users or anyone! But, for wheelchair users it gives us another choice…

Here’s a video of me leading the Wheelchair Bodybuilding Camp at the Shriners Hospital in Chicago. Nov 3-7, 2008. That night The Burn Machine Donated 9 Units to the hospital.
