bulking and random

Just wanted to write something about my progess with my 1st ever bulk. LOL i think everything is going okay…could be better some of my meals have been supplemented with fast food but toherwise can’t complain.  The loss of my six-pack was very dishearting, but that’s what happens.  Sitting at about 201 lbs…really wanna put more mass on eveything but in particular my chest, traps and arms.  Feedback is greatly needed and appreaciated!!!  other than that a random thoughts:

How did Noah fit sea creatures on the Ark?

hey man, congrats on your first bulk ever!! If you wanna put more mass on your chest, traps, and arms….deadlifts all the way! I know hardly anybody likes them but once you get used to the initial shock and soreness, you will love them too. My arms respond better to all out intensity. I’ll start out with barbell curls 1×20 (light weight) 1×5 (heavy) 1×10 (slightly less weight than my set of 5) and then a set of 3 (heavy as I can go) I’ll then do incline dumbell curls 1×10, 1×8, 1×6 moving up in weight each set. Then I will follow it up with preacher curls 2x wide grip, 2x close grip. I aim for 10 reps each set. For triceps, overhead tricep extensions (done the same way as my barbell curls) Bench dips with 2-45lbs plates on my lap (3×10) and then 3 sets of 10-15 on reverse grip cable pressdowns with ez curl bar attachment. For chest, I have noticed much better development doing incline first. I like doing incline on a smith machine. I ignored doing incline first for a long time even though I was told to do so. I now regret it. I am a "bodybuilder" (at least I am trying to be) not a power lifter! Although it’s nice to push heavy weight. Hope I have helped a little. Keep me posted on your progress!

by the way, Noah didn’t have to fit sea creatures in the ark. They were already in the water!!

Man, losing the six pack. That is disheartening. I can’t really say thats a good thing either. I’ve never had a six pack too prominent though so I can’t really say I’ve done a successful bulk where I actually kept them.

I’ll just say stop the fast food replacements and you shouldn’t have too much to worry about.
