A little poem

chrome-dumbbell-200.jpg

I saw this poem on a video. Its cool, I think I like it.

The iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk. Get told that you’re a god or a total loser. The iron will always kick you the real deal. The iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.

Light as a Feather??

So I do this search on Bodyspace for guys my height under 200 lbs to see what I could look like with varying amounts of muscle…

To my dismay I discover that most people at 5′6" on this site are 16-19 and still growing. Even more depressing is the fact that most of them are bigger and stronger than I am presently..lol. But what intrigues the most is that for the longest while now I have stagnated somewhere between 145 and 148 lbs and I am seeing so many people in the 150’s and 160’s and above. Some don’t even look that big.

I mean I thought 160 was a whole lot! I know this guy who is way bigger than I am at 162, I thought to myself I don’t want to get as big as he is. Now based on what I’m seeing, (if people are being honest about their weight and not using bogus scales), 160lbs is not that big, 150 is not that hard to attain, benching 300 is within my reach.. so WTF have I been doing all this time???

…sH*t

The Johnny Bravo Syndrome

Does anyone out there feel the same as me?

I am tired and annoyed at people who go to the gym, people who work out, and people who other people say supposedly have good bodies, {and the people who say it - most don’t know any better} , WHO  only work out their chests and their biceps, sometimes their abs an triceps and walk around severely out of proportion and unbalanced on two skinny legs that can barely support their bodyweight thinking that they are so hot. I mean i don’t have big legs, I’m busting my tail to try to get some though but most people just can’t be bothered. How can you be ‘bodybuilding’ without building a strong foundation - your legs and back - who builds a house from the roof down or decides to put in only a roof and windows? It’s just retarded-  retarded!!!!

Post work out meal tonight = bread & butter & peanut butter & two boiled eggs w/ mauby drink - tasted really good!

A new beginning…

sunrise-2.jpg

Once upon a time there was a mesomorphic little boy who was fascinated with super heros and as he grew older his fascination didnt, but he never new why. He was always scribbling little muscular figures in his school books and one day dreamt of being muscular himself. Fast forward a few years a few experiments alot of inconsistency and more recently the completion of a Gym and Fitness instructor course and here we are today. A new beginning.. where I am going to be consistent and train hard, and make constant progress. NO more slacking. Stay tuned.
