What the heck is Ezekiel toast?????
Because I was questioned, what is Ezekiel bread after posting my blog yesterday? I thought I would fill you in.
Those of you who have not tried it…..you are missing out!!!!
It is sliced bread made from sprouted grains. This makes it a “living bread” which gives it a nutritionally packed profile. It is cooked at a lower temperature so that the enzymes in the sprouts can do their work.
The best news, its a flourless bread! They sprout the grains & grind them into dough. It also has a better, tighter crumb texture so it has a white bread “feel” to it. Makes great toast!
It’s usually found in the freezer case in the natural / organic section of your grocery store.
Fun tidbit……its a favorite of Culter. I don’t know this to be a factoid, just saw it on a forum.

I tried Ezekiel bread for the first time last week and it is the best bread I have ever had in my life!!! It’s a little on the expensive side, but totally worth it!

Its my fav too1 I dont even like flour type breads anymore! This company also makes wraps! I found them at a health food store.
