On August 16th I competed at the Europa Super Show. I did not place in the top 5, yet I did learned some valuable lessons. DON’T fly too close to a show it is too hard on your body. JanTana Spray tan service is worth the money. I didn’t get the JanTana airbrush tan and Protan turned me green! My tan for the show was GREEN on some places but not my hands and feet…it was the Protan reacting in a bad way to my PH balance in my skin. Also, I did something wrong with my water and food intake before the show because smoothed over and lost all of my cuts….and the airplane ride a few hours before the show didn’t help either. I have so much to learn about my body before I compete again. I’ve been taking notes and I’m going to take some time off conests and let my knees rest and try to avoid surgery. I have always been more of a bodybuilder at heart, and I put solid muscle on off season. Figure has a VERY VERY bling bling, makeup and artificial look that is not me. I’m a very natural non foo foo kinda of woman. I am considering bodybuilding in the future. We shall see… As for now…It’s time to focus on making money back for all the competitions costs and fees. Most of all, I plan on hanging out with loved ones! I miss my neices!
ALL was NOT lost at the Europa though! Me and My friend Lizzy had a fun time hanging out together at the show watching the other competetitors/people and having some good food and drinks after the show. We also enjoyed the car show at the expo! I’ll post pictures of me with the cars asap!

I placed 3rd in the Figure Tall division. With only 11 weeks of contest prep I was not suprised I placed 3rd(I need at least 12 weeks to diet down safely). I DID get GREAT feedback from the judges. They told me they really liked my shape and muscles, but I need to tighten up and get a bit leaner. That’s great news… I have about 3 weeks to tighten up for the Europa. I’m going to bust my butt and hopefully look my best ever for the Europa. The judges feedback was vital and the reason I did the MO show. I had to find out if I was on the right track or needed to make major changes to my physique. From what I’ve been hearing about Figure changes I didn’t know if I even had the right physique for Figure. I was VERY HAPPY to hear that they judges like my look, even my tattoos and I just need to get leaner and tighter. HUGE relief! I can do that…I can’t totally change my body in 3 weeks(if that’s what they would have suggested I would have been in trouble). They also said I need a lighter one peice and darker tan. That too I can adjust for the EUROPA. I’m so happy they didn’t tell me I need to gain or loose in any one body part…that is SO hard to change. (sigh of relief)
That’s the plan now, tighten up to compete August 16th. My friend Amy Kessler is going to help me with my contest prep too. I did my own diet for the MO show and got really confused and frustrate. We all need a little guidence. Bodybuilding and Figure is a hard sport to prepare for without some prep coach, your head can get foggy when carb depleting haha. Listening to 15 different peoples advice just causes confusion. That is a lesson I had to learn the hard way. Live and Learn.
I’m going to post pictures asap.
God Bless!

I’m 11 days away from the MO show and my body is letting me know haha. I’m tired and spaced out, my knees ACHE, but that’s my hereditary arthritic bad knees and I’m used to it(and pray daily for healing). I feel good and I’m sure I’ll be the biggest Figure girl in my class, and I’ve recently been told that’s NOT what the judges are looking for but it’s what I’m bringing! I’m not able to drop 20 lbs in 11 days. I’ve heard over the past few weeks over and over I’m too big for Figure and should do bodybuilding…I’ve not competed in over a year and more has changed than I thought. The judges seem to want smaller and smaller girls this year..
Now the Europa I’m still 6 weeks aways from, so I am going to try to trim down as much as I am possible by that show…and see how I do at the two different shows and sizes I’ll be….we shall see….
