I don’t have a personal trainer anymore :/ It’s been a while I’ve been training by myself and, well, I guess I’m doing OK. I felt confortable and safe having someone planning my workout and taking care of the weights while I was resting hehe. But that’s OK, it’s was a lot of money for me anyway.

There’s not much time (or patience or english knowlegde hehe) to write here. But now is a lazy friday afternoon at work so here I am. What I’ve been eating most of the days (feel free to give opinions and suggestions):

7:30AM - 6 eggwhites + 1 yolk + oatmeal (50g) + flaxseed (25g) + vanilla essence + 1 or 2 bananas + sweetner

10:30AM - 1 scoop whey + powder soy protein + 1 fruit or sweet potato

1:00PM - brown rice or pasta + tuna (1 can in water) or fish (salmon once a week) or tofu + green salad

4:00PM - 1 scoop whey + powder soy protein + 1 fruit or pita toasts

7:00PM - like lunch

10:00PM (Post training) - 2 scoops whey, sometimes a banana too or fat free yogurt.

I’m not a saint so sometimes I eat a square of dark chocolate or half a slice of cheese pizza :") But most of the time I keep the diet.

Sure there are variations, specially in weekends. Sometimes my boyfriend do a different eggwhite omelette w/ white cheese and spinach and things like that. Or some "whey pudding" if we are desperate for sweets, hehe. And I love some skim milk w/ coffee and light whole bread w/ cottage. But that’s it.

There’s a lot of whey protein, I know, but as you can see, fish is the only meat I eat. And it was an exception I made since I have this goal of gaining muscles and wasn’t so sure I could make it being a vegetarian besides all the articles I read. Actually I think it’s possible to gain muscles not eating meat but I didn’t want to risk all my efforts :/

It’s been the third week I’ve been training with a personal trainer. He is w/ me on Mondays and Thursdays - leg days - and gives me orientation about how to train on the other days of the week. I don’t think I could train legs that hard by myself! I discovered that all my life I was doing leg press w/ no purpose, I didn’t know the basics: feet up to work butt muscles and feet down to work quads. I was doing a lot of things wrong…

Now I’m really confident that I’ll reach my first goals by the end of the year. I hope to spend this summer w/ a great body

I think the train is ok now, I’m still working on my diet though :/

Last Monday I had my first workout with a personal trainer. Today is Thursday and I’m still sore!!! I never had such an intense training before. We did legs, specially quads and yesterday I could barely walk. Today is still sore but getting better. Was I training too soft before or did he push me beyond my limits? Is it ok to be sore like this?

I have a new workout with him today. Let’s see what he says about it.
