You can continue to prosper, trainer or not. It all depends on you.

Hummmmm well it doesn't look like you really need a trainer.... you look smokin - so I guess you're doing a pretty good, no a damn good job by yourself :) Keep up the great work!

From experience as one I know that personal trainers are hired to be fired so to speak. Our jobs are to show you the things you want to know and give you the benefit of our experience so that eventually you will not need us. Think of personal trainers as teachers as you go through school. Each one has a degree of expertise that they hopefully pass on to you and once you have learned those lessons you can now “walk on your own” so to speak.
Many people keep their personal trainer on as a form of motivation, expensive motivation, but motivation none the less.
Once you know the exercises, the form and the need to lift progressively heavier weights you are ready to solo or what I try to do, is match up people with other possible training partners.
Two or even three depending on the circumstances people with the same goals and as close as possible in ability. I have found that by doing this many of my former clients find their much needed motivation in the form of other lifters and some even progress faster than I thought possible.

Just think of the extra calories you burn by putting away your own weights.
