Time to Cut - Serious this time!

Monday, August 13th, 2007

I just took my measurements, and i’ve made gains on alot of areas, 3 cm on my chest, just 1 off breaking the 100 mark, and 4 cm on my shoulders. But there’s one place I’ve made some significant gains that I really didn’t want: my waist. I’ve put on atleast 6 cm on my waist, and I can’t stand it!

I used to have semi decent abs, they weren’t shredded, not even close, but they were there if you looked for them. I need to find them again! It’s gonna take some serious cutting now. I feel hungry already

Threw up at the gym last night!

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

That’s right. I was doing legs of course. I started off with heavy lunges on the smith machine, followed by barbell squats, then single leg press. Ever since  my second set of squats I’d been feeling seriously sick, but it wasnt the first time, so i just sucked it up.

Eventually I decided that perhaps the reason I felt so shit was because I seemed like I was getting hungry. So I went to have abit of my protein shake. Bad idea, the taste of the shake set me off and I puked all over the floor at the front desk. Obviously the reason I felt so hungry was because none of my last meal had been digested cause I’d been using everything I had on my workout.

Well  here’s a new addition to my list of things to not eat before a workout: Lean Beef Chili. Even though it was like 40 minutes or more before, chili obviously doesn’t go down easily.

Hopefully I’ll take my measurements again tomorrow, it’s been about a month.

New Progress Pics Soon

Friday, May 18th, 2007

Hit up chest tonight. I’m too tired to even flex/pose for some new progress pics. I’ll take a few tomorrow from different angles and then one for Heyzues’s challenge on the 21st.    I really feel like I’ve made some great gains in the last few weeks. I wonder what I should attribute it to. I wonder if it’s proof that new suppplements or helping, or it could be because I’ve improved my training, or because of watching my diet a little more carefully. I really have no basis for determining why I feel like I’m making faster progress than usual.    Pre exhaust training for chest is proving very effective.

Legs

Friday, May 11th, 2007

Leg workout tonight. I swear each leg workout reaches a new level. The pain threshold is insane. It feels like someone is driving knives through my quads. Still I find the best way to train legs is one god forsaken 210% quest of destruction every 1 and 1/2 weeks. If I didn’t train my legs so hard I would do them more often, as it is will be days before I can walk properly again.

Yeeeaaah buuuuuuuddddddy!

Entry no.1

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

I’ve been meaning to create a bodyspace for some time. I often find myself wondering, not whether I’m making progress (I know that I am), but just how much progress I’m making.

I’m in for the long haul. I’m only 16 right now, the way I look at it; I’ve got the rest of my to life to lift. This blog is about measuring progress and about motivation. I want to make sure that things are always on track.

I find it almost impossible to make subjective judgements about what results I am getting. Some days I look in the mirror and see a giant made of steel looking back at me. On other days I’m paranoid that I can see muscle being eaten away before my eyes. I’m hoping that a serious of pictures documenting progress will be more impartial.
