Well, I was super tired. It turned into a crap week. I went to the dr and got bad test results bad.. yadi yadi yada.. I started a new routine. Lemme know what you think

Things are going well. I’m staying on top of both jobs and of school. Got my first A of the semester. lol My workouts are great. Going up to 5-6 times a week now and I’m adding more weight and exercises everytime I go. The only thing is I’m struggling with the diet. I know that is just something I need to have the willpower over. How is everyone else doing? Staying motivated?

I started a new leg routine tonight and really enjoyed it. I hope I’m sore tomorrow! lol But the good sore. Here it is, lemme know if you guys have any suggestions because I’m still learning. Thx!!
oh and I guess I should also put that I do a 15 min cardio warm-up and 25-30 minutes of cardio after.

Well, I was feeling pretty crappy today. Definitely in need of motivation. So, I headed out to the gym to put in my cardio day. It was actually a pretty great work out and I feel rather renewed and ready for the week. My diet is going well but I still need to make more changes. I need to start drinking more water again. For some reason, last week was hard for me. And I need to cut out regular dressing on salads. Other then that, things are great. I have a busy week ahead of me with 80 hrs of work, school starting, and hopefully interviewing for this job that I really really want, while staying on top of my work outs.

to get back into the gym. Because I work so much, I haven’t been able to go since Sunday. I probably should have gone on Tuesday night but I was so tired, I knew my workout would be crap. I’ve been working out at home, using a jump rope (which is actually really rough! lol), lunges, push ups, and ab work. I just feel like I push myself more at the gym and my work outs so much better.
Other then that, this week has been great. My diet is going very well with little to no temptation to cheat. I even passed on cake at work today. I’m still looking for fun, healthy recipes (I love to cook!) and I should be getting my new measurements from my trainer soon so I will post’em asap. Hope everyone else is having a great week!

Okay so a week ago today, I gave myself a goal to run a mile. and I accomplished it today! I’m way excited. I also lost my holiday weight.. ewww but it’s gone now and that is all that matters… Woot! Go me! lol I took pics of myself last night that I was none to happy with so I’m definitely happy that I was able to do this.
I’m going to continue to increase my running. I want to be able to run in the March of Dimes run in April. It’s only 3.2 miles but it’s hillly and will probably be a little rough on me. But I’m looking forward to it!

I don’t have a lot of time. I work about 80 hrs a week and basically I go straight from one job to another. So usually, I go to my trainer on Friday night and Saturday morning. We do weights and that sort of thing, and then I will go to the gym after and do more cardio. But am I working out too much?

I am just super excited about life right now. I know that most ppl denote New Years as a time of change, etc. I started making my changes back in October, and everyday it just gets a little easier to stay dedicated to my goals.
I’ve learned so much about myself in the past year. What I will put up with, who doesn’t deserve my time, and who I need to put first (which is myself). And I’m ready to move forward with all of this and meet my goals. Confidence is such a great feeling and I want to wish the best of luck to all of you who are deciding to take control your life. The sacrifices are totally worth it.
