Healthy Pizza… can it be done?

Monday, December 29th, 2008

So, I’m sitting here when I should be working and reading articles on nutrition etc. I found a lot of great recipes for healthy meatloaf, chili, etc.. but none for pizza? Can it be done?  If so, enlighten me. :)

Blisters be damned!

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

So, I’ve learned something at the gym today. And that is, I can’t run for shit. I am 25 years old and I can’t even run a mile. I’ve never been a fan of the treadmill so I’ve always opted for the elliptical or something similar. Now, I know why. It hurts my back (which probably means I’m running wrong but really how does one run wrong?) and, I get blisters. lol So my goal for this week is to be able to run a mile by next Sunday. That and to lose 3 lbs.

BTW, I heard running is the best way to attack belly fat. Is there truth to this? Because if that is case, I’m going to run my ass off, no matter how much I hate it. lol

Working hard enough?

Saturday, December 27th, 2008

Do you ever feel like (after working out) that your work out wasn’t good enough? I mean I literally pushed myself to the point of exhaustion and not been able to finish. Mentally I feel like I can keep going but physically I just cannot make the movement. Maybe I’m just being hard on myself (I am my own worst enemy and critic). Your thoughts?
